Jets lose 38-34 to Chicago. Mad

But still makes the playoffs due to Jacksonville's 20-17 loss to Washington. eek3

You mean the commissioner Roger Gooddell? It's all about the NFL's "tough stance" on preventing concussions, yet they want to play two more games.

Eagles better win. Got big money on it. They should easily win because they are still in the hunt for the NFC Title

Vick had a terrible game. Hes won them loads of games theis year with his individual efforts but he has to hold his hand up here and say he fucked up. 4 interceptions and a fumble in a really good scoring position. That game itself has probably given MVP to Tom Brady

Would they get rid of pre-season games in place of those 2 games though? I know the pre season isn't 'real' and players who would be in danger of getting concussions wouldn't really play, but that does compensate a bit, because the pre-season is really boring.

They would, but like you said, most starters in the pre-season games play one series or one quarter per game, some (like LT when he used to play for San Diego) don't play at all. So there is still a big hike in injury risk. I like the schedule the way it is now, but can't see the NFL not going to 18 games.

Are concussions becoming really that much of a problem btw? I know that Aaron Rodgers got one, but the only other one i can think of is Roethlisberger who's had a few.

Oh yeah, out of interest does anyone play Goal Line Blitz?

There was a big uproar about concussions maybe two years ago? I lot of new data came out on the effects that it had on players, players from the 60s/70s/80s etc. came out and said they were experiencing mental issues, some had dementia, scientists (with permission of the family of course) looked at some deceased players brains and found real deterioration etc. So the NFL decided to take a hard stance on it.

    Jets up 24-7, backups mostly. Game doesn't matter, but 11-5 > 10-6

Let the play offs begin. Saints at Seattle will be a much tougher game than people think. Wouldnt be surprised to see the Seahawks sneak it.

    NO Saints @ Seattle Seahawks

    NY Jets @ Indi Colts

    Blatimore Ravens @ KC Chiefs

    GB Packers @ Phili Eagles

My picks to win. Eagles have been shit the last few games annd seem to have gone off the boil. Packers have always been strong.

Best game will be Jets @ Colts. Colts will probably sneak it because Manning has really hit form the last few weeks
