The list says of all time. You can base it on highlights of a player.

Is your gripe that I didn't include Dalglish or that I included players before my time? It's off the top of my head, it's my list, I chose who I wanted to choose.

Just don't see how you can judge the impact of a player you never watched or grew up seeing. Sure, Maradona is one of the greats, but to include him in my all time list would just be a cliche. Would make more sense to choose players of your time.

Obviously. The question is of all time so I put a list of who I think are the best 10. It's just opinion.

Even if I never saw Maradona live, I have still saw highlights of lots of his great goals.

If that was how these lists worked then players like Pele, Cruyff and Maradona would end up being completely ignored.

I wouldn't put him in my top 10 at this time.

When you think about it, if he is top 10 now and continues to play well for Barcelona in these coming seasons then he would have to be 1st when he retires.
