Hull City promoted Empty Hull City promoted

Post by Guest Tue Apr 19, 2011 3:10 am

Not even sure how to word it.

A team that has played in Bristols last game of the season has been promoted since the 2001/02 season.

I think that makes sense. Mad

    2001/02 - Stoke
    2002/03 - Cardiff
    2003/04 - Brighton
    2004/05 - Wednesday
    2005/06 - Southend
    2006/07 - Brizzle
    2007/08 - City
    2008/09 - Burnley
    2009/10 - Blackpool

Game over boys. Hull City promoted 28973

Hull City is the only team in the football league with no letters that you can colour in. Because of this, I want them to not get promoted.

This is the thread that I was looking for. Sorry it took a while I was busy. It also mentions Bristol playing against teams that go up. When I first read it I thought it was the other way round so that is why I decided to show it to you.

    http://www.footballforums.net/forums/showthread.php/255037-Back-Leeds-for-the-title.....

It's a shame about the Leeds part though. Mad

Hull city are not good enough to be promoted. Maybe next year. This year I reckon QPR, Cardiff and Norwich will be promoted. (Not because they're the top three atm though, lol. I just think they'll have what it takes.)

Although, Leeds might come up trumps in the play-offs. Got a feeling. But I'll say Norwich because they have Pacheco Razz

They're a couple of points off the play-offs and quite often, the club that sneaks into the play-offs right at the end of the season goes up. I think the last few that have gone up in the Champioship play-offs have finished 5th or 6th.

Actually James, this is all starting to make sense.. eek

But if we get in the playoffs, it is all down to chance. And if Cardiff go up automatically...

We've not lost to Reading, Norwich or Swansea this season. Razz Don't underestimate us, we'd of been challenging for automatic if it wasn't for a piss poor start to the season.

It's possible, I guess I was a bit harsh in my post. You perhaps do have what it takes, especially considering your away record.

If you do get promoted next season, I'll enjoy the Liverpool vs Hull pre-match threads. Wink

Just looked at something and it's looking better than it was for Friday. Reading haven't beat us at ER in the league. That means we should be able to get a point out of it hopefully. 8 points should make sure we are in the play offs instead of Hull after the final day is over.

Did you look at that thread James?

Yeah. The QPR fan that didn't want to back his team was funny.

Reading have won 9 in a row. I think that will end against Leeds, but I think they'll nick a point.

Yeah I think we'll get at least a point. I feel surprisingly optimistic about this game considering we've got 5 points in our last 6 games and they've got 9 wins in 9.

I think if we were to not get into the play-offs it would be you that I want. Would rather have a Yorkshire team up there and can't stand Millwall doing well.

Forgot to mention this in the other thread when I said Hull were obsessed with us. Laughing Most of us like to see other Yorkshire teams do well.

I think Reading will beat Leeds.

At Elland Road you'll be looking for the win.....I can see Long/Kebe beasting you on the counter.

It might depend on who scores the most goals....like 4-3 eek2

Haha I know, I wish all Yorkshire teams well except Sheffield United. And even then that's only because of Warnock. They all hate us because we're bigger though hehe

I just hope we don't get Cardiff in the play-offs, I have absolutely no confidence when we play them.

We haven't beat them in decades. They shit on us when we play them.

Swansea we could beat at home but get fucked away, Norwich haven't looked as good as the others when we've played them this season. Reading didn't look special either but they're doing amazing now so I will have to wait until Friday to judge.

Watch some other team have a game against Bristol postponed and suddenly Hull City might not be Bristol's final game. Bet you never thought about that possiblity. Laughing
