Football teams NOT actually located in city or town they rep

Interesting thing brought up in that thread were James calls someone a glory hunter(Yeah, I know there are a lot but the most recent one, forgot the name of the thread, think it's the Rio/Balo one) got me curious.

Can you name football teams NOT actually located in city or town they represent.

This include teams that are located in a town that is part of a bigger city or county or whatever you call it over there.

Example, the Los Angeles Gaylaxy don't actually play in the city of Los Angels but in my town of Carson that is just part of LA county.
You know sort of like every sport team in New York.

Please name city they claim or whatever but where the actually play, example; "The New York Giants are actually located in New Jersey."

I don't think Manchester United are quite in Manchester.

Rotherham United are currently playing at the Don Valley arena which is in Shefffield.

NY Red Bulls are in Jersey.

Technically, Everton aren't in Everton..

The MLS teams are what made me make this thread, to be honest there are a lot of American teams like this from other sports, off the top of my head lets see;

Los Angeles Angels are in Orange County.

Tampa Bay Rays are in St. Petersberg.

New York Giants and New York Jets both in Jersey.

Dallas Cowboys in Arlington.

Buffalo Bills in Orchard Park.

Washington Redskins in a town I'm not even going to attempt to spell, starts with an Hy I think.

oh and the Pistons play in Auburn Hills.

Oh and the LA Raiders playing in Oakland.

I think Grimsby play elsewhere or something like that.

Forest don't technically play in The City of Nottingham. The ground is in the borough of Rushcliffe in a suburb called West Bridgford. It's literally just yards away from being classed as in the city though Over Trent Bridge and Lady Bay Bridge is classed as City

Its different here. Not every town and community has a professional club of a particular sport.

Most people here don't want the stadium in the city centre where crime is a much larger problem. A lot of the stadiums here are newer as well and there isn't the land to build them in the city centre. Makes little sense to comapre England with the U.S/Canada in that regard

San Jose Earthquakes play at Buck Shaw Stadium which is located at the Santa Clara University campus in Santa Clara, California. The border for San Jose is about a 2 minute drive though.
