I'm talking about taking courses at college like Public Services, Law and Sociology etc. I know it's obvious you don't need Science for alot of jobs but will it affect your chances applying for a job and you don't have Science as a A*-C qualification?

Is Science considered important as GCSE?

Most important is Maths and English.
For college you'll only need Science at GCSE level for Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Human Biology pretty much.
There's quite a lot of subjects that label themselves a science...but you won't need a grade in them. For some subjects you don't need to have taken them at any level in the past.
If you're thinking of taking Sociology at college........DON'T. Don't take crappy easy subjects as this will put good Uni's off (or at least make there mind up about who will get a place or not).
