I'm leaning towards no, because it might encourage people to vote for parties like the BNP.

None of the Political Parties really interest me atm so I don't really care.
How old do you have to be to vote on this?

Can see where you're coming from, they all try to please everyone so much that they're all basically the same now bar a few policies. David Cameron is a twat though and Nick Clegg is a liar, so I don't like either of them.
18 probably, not entirely sure.

Which for me is a good thing.
Not because I want BNP in power, but it might help push the government into getting a spine.
Even if this went through, there would be no victory for BNP. They're too extreme, but at the same time all 3 of the main parties could do with moving a bit further right......they're all the same....the public's vote has no meaning when whoever is in power will always do the things the public are passionately against.

If they all moved further right wouldn't they still be the same? Doesn't necessarily mean that anyway, I doubt this will change anything in regards to the policies of the big parties, they'll still try to appeal to everybody.

I googled it.
After a quick skim, I take it it's a popularity contest or something.
Whatever.
No.

True, but they'd be better anyway.

Depends what you mean. They always try and appeal to everybody when it comes to elections, but once they've won they forget all about us.
Left doesn't appeal to me at all, it appeals to the poor/minorities though....

I won't vote at all.
It makes no difference. We'll still have liars and rich, 'highly-educated' types running the country for their own good and not the good of the people.

I'd rather it shifted to the left and I'm not poor or a minority, probably the opposite. I think left policies work best for everyone while right tend to cater to the already rich, what's the point in that? That's just my opinion though, don't expect you to appreciate it.

Pretty bad attitude to take. If you truly think that, then why not try and find a way to vote against it? Parties will always try and make policies for your vote, then if they don't follow them they'll lose popularity (in theory). You might as well vote for the policies you believe in and then not vote for them if they don't fulfill them.
I reckon I'd vote for the STV (Single transferable vote) if I was going for any of them.

Why? It's not like they fulfull most of their promises anyway.
I don't vote, because I know, whoever runs the country, won't do it well.

That's a bit of a selfish, anti-democratic attitude if you don't mind me saying so.

You favour a system, not because it is fairer, but because it will make your party have a better chance of winning.

I meant I don't know what the OP is. I don't really give a shit about these votes because mine isn't going to decide it. I voted for Green party cus a woman is leader of it or some shit. Saw her chatting on tv.

You shouldn't be allowed to vote.
