Since the new rankings were just released yesterday I think it was the right time to redo this thread. Just pick one player each from the top 11 nations in the FIFA World Rankings The countries are;

Well I would have expected some different picks from Greece than what you all have here. Names I thought would come up;

Giorgos Karagounis (captain, over 100 caps)
Kostas Katsouranis (8 goals center back/ defensive midfielder)
Georgios Samaras (plays for Celtic!)
