Boardwalk Empire

New show (well in England anyway). Makers of the legendary The Sopranos and good ol Martin Scorese (ignore spelling) is involved.
Anyone watch it? Gotta say the first episode was pretty good and it looks certain to fill the gap that The Sopranos left.

Downloaded the first 12 episodes. Watched the first 2. looks good so far. Also downloaded that new show Blue Bloods

Got the first 2 recorded, will probably watch them tomorrow or something.

Ive watched the first 2 and set it for series link on Sky +. Pretty good so far.
North ive also started watching that Blue Bloods, only seen the first episode but it's a lot better then some of the shit cop shows that are on.

Not watched any of Blue Bloods yet. I rerally like the cop show Southland. If Blue Bloods is half as good then it should be brilliant

Not sure what southland is like so i cant really help there. But from the 1st episode its not that bad, the second episode looks good though from the advert ive seen.

What is it about? Need something new to watch.

Set in the 1920s Prohibition America...it's about Nuccy Thompson, Al Capone etc and their fight against the Law and other gangsters to provide alcohol to Atlantic City & Chicago. It's got the usual: guns, girls, language, baseball bats across the head and wise cracking gangsters

Cant wait for the next season to start. Something a little different to whats already out there. I like it

Yh its really good, i still prefer The Sopranos as thats got more funnier moments (without it actually being a comedy) but Boardwalk is a great show
