    Released at 9am tomorrow.

Apparently our first 3 games will be away from home, due to building work being done at Anfield, so I think we're going to have a dreadful start regardless of who we get.

    All fixtures

Every team has to play every other one twice, once at home and once away.

    Our first 7 away games:

    - Stoke
    - Arsenal
    - Man Utd
    - Everton
    - Spurs
    - Chelsea
    - Man City

    rofl

    Rodgers sacked by January.

In a way, it could be a blessing in disguise to get rid of all the hardest away games in one early fell swoop. Our second half of the season is going to look much easier than every other team's.

Lmao that is literally the 7 hardest away fixtures in a row Laughing Fucking hell.

If there's any advantage it's in having all your easiest games first so you can build an advantage. Having one means you go into the games against your rivals with them needing a result, Chelsea took great advantage of this last season.

Meh, it could go either way. Under Rodgers we're notoriously better in the second half, so having easier fixtures would be an extra boost*. We're not exactly challenging for the League anyway.

*Providing he makes it past Christmas.

That's almost certainly a coincidence. We had a similar reputation under Ferguson because of a few famous years where it happened but when I looked it up we had just as many seasons where we did better in the first half. Seasons where you roar back into contention are usually a lot more memorable than one where you dribble off into shit.

Well it's been the case for all 3 of Rodger's seasons at Liverpool so far.
