Man United vs Liverpool | Capital One Cup | Weds 7:45pm

This will be an interesting match.

Man United will not want to lose so soon after being humiliated by Man City and they'll most certainly not want to have been beaten by Liverpool twice in one month, so I'm expecting them to really go for it, full of determination.

Luis Suarez is finally back and raring to go, after serving his 10-game suspension. We've all forgotten just how good he is, due to not seeing him play in so long. He's a huge addition. Great timing too, what with Coutinho expected to be out for a month. 

I'm not really sure what to expect, in terms of teams. Playing the strongest 11 available makes sense in such an iconic match-up, but at the same time, it's the Capital One Cup. I wonder if pride takes over and both teams put out their strongest 11? 

It would also be interesting if only one side fielded their strongest team, and the other was scattered with youngsters.

Not sure which way it'll go in terms of who wins. Man United have been a joke and Moyes is becoming a laughing stock, so they'll feel the pressure, but at the same time, we've been quite poor in our last two games.

I reckon Man United will win by 1 goal and I wouldn't be surprised if it was from a penalty (Yes, I'm looking at you, Ashley Young). 

Got a feeling it could go to extra time.

I think United will play a weakened team with a lot of young players mixed in with a few of the now-shithouses like Giggs.

Hopefully Liverpool win convincingly.

Another defeat for SPOH as he struggles to steady the ship.

Don't feel nervous at all. Not sure why. Maybe because it's the League Cup. 

Not really sure what kind of result to expect. If we're to stand a chance, we need to avoid conceding an early goal, but I imagine Man United will throw the kitchen sink at us from the word go.

Liverpool playing some nice football. Control in the final has been awful.

Not too bad from us, so far. I agree Keyser, we've been really poor in the final third.

Toure and Henderson have been doing well down the right.

I feel like I want us to win more to put more pressure on Moyes than to progress to the next round.

I don't think I've ever said this before when losing, but this game has been quite enjoyable to watch.

I think that Henderson should be given the captaincy, he has been outstanding and is a true leader on the pitch

BRodge should be given the sack for playing first team players in this competition.

It's as if BR gave up on the league title and is going for smaller silverware.

Risky move, let's see if it pays off.
