I had a quick play around on this today and it's really good. Worked with the PS3 controller (which isn't supported) just fine.

The UI is really easy to navigate and the web browser is the best I've used on a TV (with a controller).

If valve did make a console I would buy the shit out of it. There would be no reason to own anything else.

The thought of the Valve time is frightening.

Valve wouldn't be making a console as you know it, at least that wasn't the initial thought, they would sell computers made for hooking up to your TV in your living room eliminating the need for consoles where you cannot replace the parts.

They may have gone away from that, but the good thing is that you could use your computer like a console in that case and it would "cross-platform" with those using the Valve console.

I hope its the future and i hope that Sony and Microsoft play something out against that can match up because Valve is going to win if they don't, Nintendo has their own market now laughably behind with pointless "innovation" the other 2 already are ahead of.

The ONLY problem valve has is that they do not have EA games anymore, but should they be selling computer-consoles people can install Origin where the games are already made to function with controllers and with that you'd have access to Fifa, NFS, Battlefield, SimCity and so on.

Nobody knows what hardware Valve are developing yet though right?

It probably won't be a console but it will be awesome.
