I ate my rabbit too.
My grandfather was a butcher in the old country and he killed his own meat, so kept a bunch of different animals, rabbits among them. I happened to get attached to this Black rabbit. Ended up naming it after Bugs Bunny's nephew Buster, taking it out of it's cage, playing and feeding it.
Watched as grandpa smashed it's head against a tree.
He was delicious.
