Winter or Summer?

As Summer draws to an end, winter is upon us. I was thinking, do you guys prefer Winter or Summer?

Don't get me wrong, I really do love Summer and the hot weather and everything that comes with it, playing sports etc. However there seems something quite comforting of darkness drawing at 5 or 6pm whilst your sitting inside on your gadgets and gizmos for company. Maybe thats just me been old fashioned.

I really like both, but I probably would go for Winter 55% more as I like how everyone comes together during Christmas.

Winter, I love the snow when it actually comes. I'm often less disappointed though.

Same, I too like to sit in the dark with my old fashioned gadgets and gizmos like my Tamagotchi.

Is autumn not recognized as a season in England?

It is, but Spring is the poor mans Summer, as is Autumn for Winter.

Summer

Snow and shit keeps everyone in, it's shit getting up when it's half dark and getting out of your bed when it's cold is awful

I do a lot of winter sports, like the feeling of snow and everything associated with it. Can't stand the feeling of being hot and sweating either so it's winter for me.

Summer always.

Main redeeming factor of winter is Christmas though.

Summer although we don't really get one.

I prefer cold weather over hot weather. I also prefer the festive season of winter.

Weather wise, Autumn is the best. Spring is the worst with all the pollen, smelly trees, insects, bees, etc.

Winter, the crime rate skyrockets during summer.

Don't know if it's just me, but I'd rather be cold too cause its fairly comforting and easy to get warm. But when you're hot it's a fucking nightmare to cool down.

I sweat too much in summer, love winter, it also gives me an excuse to buy a shit load of hoodies

Meh, I'd much rather be able to do things outside and be in the sun than be cozy inside.

Going out in winter is great if you're wrapped up.

I like both, but winter is really nice in a big city like NYC. Plus you can wear layers and quadruple your steez.

Hmm, both have their ups and downs. Good points of summer, going on holiday, sitting in beer gardens on warm evenings, getting to wear shorts. Bad points though like getting really sweaty, dying every time you get in the car, warm meals not being as appealing.

Winter has good points like mentioned above, being warm and comfy inside when it's pissing down or snowing. Christmas and the general festive period, lots of football and away trips to look forward to. But then come the bad points, snow fucking up getting to work, getting up and into your car when it's frozen and pitch black, having to mess about taking jackets everywhere then taking them off when you go inside places.

So yeah I like and dislike both a fair bit at different points.

Beer gardens oh my god, went to one this summer with 100% free beer (promotional shit) and some models. Was the highlight of my summer tbh.

Summer when the a/c works.

Winter when the heat works.

Winter, the funny looks I get when wearing shorts is hilarious.

I believe the majority of people who prefer winter probably do not venture outside as much as the people who prefer summer.

Winter. You get the temperature hovering in the mid to high 60's. Rainy days once in a while is a good thing as well.

...and that big bad world has more bugs in it during summer.

For some reason I only enjoy decent weather when I actively seek it ie. go on holiday. British weather is too unpredictable to enjoy.
