FIFA 13 Ultimate Team

Well, it's pretty much a month before we can start trading again on FIFA 13, can't wait.

Here are some new details on UT:

• FIFA Points are the new FUT currency, which players can buy via Xbox Live and PSN - packs in FUT will only be available using Coins or FIFA Points.

• FIFA Seasons in are in FUT, with both online and single Player versions of Seasons. There will be five divisions in Seasons to prove your Ultimate Team abilities.

• Returning players will be rewarded with special packs.

• At the end of every Season in FUT there will be prizes based on how well your Squad performed.

• Fitness has been redesigned to make fitness recovery items more important

• TOTW - You can now challenge the Team of the Week for a reward every week

• Morale – The scales have shifted! Neutral morale is the default and you’ll have to manage your squad to get high
morale. Players expect to play and win to keep high morale. Players with low morale recover to neutral faster

• New manager tasks help teach you the mid-level tasks of running a club. Complete them all for a Special reward!

• You can buy unlock rewards in the EASFC catalogue for your club: e.g. more squads or bigger Trade piles.

• FUT is now fully integrated with EASFC. Your friends can keep up with your big signings.

• You can now access your Ultimate Team information at any time through the EA SPORTS mobile app or the FIFA website.



Anyone have any idea of what squads they might be creating? I'll be avoiding the high prices of the Premier League, so I might delve into Ligue 1 or La Liga.

Can you make multiple accounts without multiple online activated copies of Fifa? I swear I tried this once to no Avail.

With this new system of points and the need for fitness cards I hope EA aren't going to stifle us players who don't want to put real money into the game

Selling coins on ebay is going to be dead this year. I have four accounts so that'll be enough.

I have 7 psn accounts ready to strike. All with current UT accounts.

Then I'll just have my 6 backup accounts buy my shit cards on my main account for high prices.

But to those wondering.. think it's too late to make more accounts to benefit from early web app access and extra packs.. cutoff is usually late July early August

Was gunna make a whole bunch of accounts but I decided to just make one more. Not like you are even going to get that much coins from your packs (unless you get really lucky). I can just make up the difference with an hour or so of trading.

Man.. in the early stages.. any card 80+ or high 70s with good stats are worth 5x what they should be.

Truss.

75 non-rares shift for 1k too in the first weeks. I love it.

Remember Sturridge going for like 8k at the beginning of the game.

I think the whole selling points/coins for MS points is going to ruin the game so much. On the other versions you could spend £20 on packs and still only get like 40k back in coins. Now that people will know they can get a certain amount for a fixed price, loads will do it. So then once they have their coins, why buy packs? You can just go straight to the market and buy the card you want. I barely ever bought packs but it's obvious they're important to the market.

So I could spend £20 on packs with MS points, and get say 50k and some shit players, or just buy some EA points use them to buy coins and get 100k?

The market is going to be dead without the option to buy packs with real money. Kids used to use their mum's credit cards for every TOTW so there was always a lot of new cards filling up the market.

Yeah it pissed me off when I would play someone with my failr good team, yeah I buy loads of packs and it's with my money but I can afford too, I hate these kids that spank their parents credit cards and are actually really shit at the game and send me squeaky voice messages

What I might do is as the players at the start are so highly priced, buy coins, go on the Marketplace and 59th for about 2 weeks, probably quadruple the amount of money and I'll be back in business.

They already do this on other types of FIFA games. The FIFA Points will most likely be able to be bought with real money and be more valuable than regular coins. On the Superstars game, for example, a gold pack is 59k coins or 90 FIFA Points.

They've introduced FIFA coins so you can buy a certain amount with your Microsoft points and each time you buy a pack, you can get it straight away instead of going through that whole downloading the pack thing after every one.

Ahhh. That makes sense.
