Does the roof not make the ball bounce or move funny? I think that I heard that from somewhere, I could be terribly wrong, though.

Weather permitting, 12pm, although it probably won't get going until about 12:15.

In general it makes the ball move faster through the air. I was never particularly good at science so I couldn't give a great explanation as to why that happens.

I do know that when it's colder in outdoor conditions, the moisture in the air makes the ball feel heaver thus making it feel much slower. Warm & sunny weather makes for quicker conditions.

Indoors are generally quicker because of the lack of interference from the weather, but it also depends on the surface of the court.

just going to let everybody know that Julia has moved to 25th in the world

Also Kerber has gone to 9th in the world.

Which means I have seen a current Top 10 player play a match in Auckland!!!! Very Happy

I'm so glad this match got held overnight, I'm emotionally prepared for defeat, wouldn't have been able to handle it if it happened all in one go.

I've seen a young Andy Murray play doubles with Rusedski in Glasgow Laughing Mind you, they were playing Zimjonic, who's one of the best doubles players around.
Just to think that if I'd went to see the singles instead (Davis Cup) I would have seen Djokovic & Tipsarevic Neutral

Has anyone ever tried "accidentally" knocking over Nadal's bottles?

Novak holds with 2 serves wide, that's where Rafa needed to take him, Novak has this now.

@Kyro7 I think you might need to spend your winnings on therapy, Rafa losing to Nando on clay is a sign of bad things to come...

I always remember this shifty What a clay court season he's had away from that blue shit. not worthy

Well, I obviously enjoyed them, thought Rafa played really well throughout the whole thing.. except for that 8 game run Novak had.. not sure if that had anything to do with the way the balls were getting heavy and stuff, and Rafa's mind went a bit, apart from that it's been great from him.. but yeah I could definitely see why you find it shit, I found the other semi to be horrific and it was probably better than Rafa - Ferrer.

You're slacking though, man. It's been over two hours since the match completed and you're still working with the same out-dated avatar and signature banner. Come on! Step your game up. Razz
