The Political Satires of Armando Ianucci Empty The Political Satires of Armando Ianucci

I know political satire is probably a bit high brow for most of the cretins on this forum, but does anyone watch either of these shows? Really sharp, witty, obscene comedies with the most creative swearing in any form of media I've seen.

The Thick Of It's had 2 seasons (season 1 and season 3) and some specials and is based a UK ministry, updated form of Yes Minister. Veep's by the same team based in the Vice President's office in the United States, half way through it's first series. Both are highly recommended.

Here's the first episode of The Thick Of It if anyone's interested

Been looking forward to the 3rd series of TTOI since last year. Excellent programme, Peter Capaldi not worthy

I will look into this. Is it overly crude or obscene?

It's extremely crude and obscene, I'd wouldn't say overly so though, it works brilliantly. Here's a clip to give you some idea.

The Thick Of It is much better than In The Loop, both those and Veep are done by the same people.

It's good, but it hasn't got shit on The Thick of it.
