Re: Joey Barton.
He should be permanently banned, not for this, but because continuously through his career he has done all kinds of despicable things on and off the field and the FA should set an example and stop giving him chances.

What if he leaves QPR? will this ban be in place if he joins a Championship club?

The ban is for Barton, I don't see why he would be allowed to play if he move clubs.

Re: Joey Barton.
This shows how leniently the FA have treated Suarez, 12 game ban for Barton for this is alright imo, Di Canio getting 11 for pushing the ref is good too but for a far worse offence, racism, it's only 8 games? Liverpool got lucky imo.

Suarez should have been hit with a bigger ban but I do agree with the length of ban for Barton. He's a cunt.

Re: Joey Barton.
In that box of longest bans handed out by the FA at the side of the BBC article, where is Paddy Kenny's? He was banned for 9 months with that drugs thing but he's been missed off I think.

Should have fined him a bit more than 75k. Biggest spaz in the game at the moment.

A longer ban would probably have incited the Liverpool fan base and caused riots amongst the Scouse Uruguayan cultural experts.Gegilworld93 wrote:This shows how leniently the FA have treated Suarez, 12 game ban for Barton for this is alright imo, Di Canio getting 11 for pushing the ref is good too but for a far worse offence, racism, it's only 8 games? it was nothing that bad
Not really, if you consider his history. Bans should get harsher and harsher as your history for thuggery in the game increases.

Re: Joey Barton.
i am shocked at 12
but as said if they consider his history then it could have added to it
i dont think his tweets after didnt help about "dont care jus tried to get city player sent off" "who cares we are staying in the PL" "i would do it again cause we are in the PL still" etc etc

It's not including off the field incidents, only things that happend on the pitch.Uncle John from Jamaica wrote:In that box of longest bans handed out by the FA at the side of the BBC article, where is Paddy Kenny's? He was banned for 9 months with that drugs thing but he's been missed off I think.

Don't think so. Barton has a bad history. Both this ban and Suarez's were justified. Now if Suarez was to do something like that again, he should be suspended for like 20 games.

Re: Joey Barton.
It was something like
4 matches for kicking Aguero
1 for another yellow
1 for red card
4 for grabbing tevez
2 for headbutting Kompany
Something like that, the dailmail somewhere had the correct analysis

Ah yes, but Lux only fulfils 50% of the requirements to be labelled a 'spaz footballer.'

Weren't those two 3 bans and two others for them technically being his second and third red cards of the season?Danny wrote:Fonseca wrote:It was something like
