Amazing Spiderman - New trailer

It contains spoilers as to who the villain is. It also seems like they've changed the origin story as well, which is kinda weird.

Are you an avid reader of the comics? I'm not but I've read some people say that this is a more accurate adaptation of the comics. I have no idea how true that is though.

I'm not, but I was always under the impression that he got bitten by the spider by accident, but the trailer implies that it was done on purpose, maybe I misread that though.

Edit: I lol'd at the bit whith the 'you've found my weakness, small knives' It seems like they're trying to capture the fact that Spiderman is the kind of hero that cracks jokes and is quite amusing.

I thought Tobey Maguire in the other Spiderman films was brilliant.

This guy has alot to live up to.

From the trailers I already like this portrayal of Spiderman more than Maguire's one. And Marvel really need to get the rights for Spiderman again so he can be in the next Avengers movie.

Also pretty sure Spiderman uses cartridges in this film which is good. Although I was always under the impression Connor regretted being the Lizard and was a bit like the hulk, he seems to want to be evil in this one.

It's not about Marvel's rights, it's about the studios. Rights for Spiderman are owned by Sony, The Avengers by Disney. No chance of a collaboration any time soon.

Just don't think this new kid will be on Maguire's level. I won't judge yet though.
