Those colours represent the borough of Govan. Red and black until we get our club back, it's a show of unity

Rangers are shit, and they should pay their debts.
But seriously i would not wish this on any football club, the people who ran the club over the years and got them into this situation should be strung up in govan.

Coincidence, the friendly was arranged months before the red and black campaign.

Re: Old Firm argument thread.
I like to see Kilmarnock winning as im only about 2 miles from their ground, and i used to go and watch them play when they were playing at home back in the late 80,s when they were in the lower league's of scottish football. But i eventually stopped going as i could not handle going and not knowing what was going on with Liverpool. Most times i only went to watch Kilmarnock if Liverpool were playing on a sunday.Jord wrote:Which Scottish club do you favour, Alan?
My uncle and my cousins were also big Rangers fans, and i just loved football so much i went to see a few Rangers games with them when i was younger. Been at two Rangers v Celtic games and the atmosphere is bonkers.
Went to this game the Skol League Cup Final back in 1986, Graeme Souness won his first trophy as Rangers manager. 74,000 plus fans and the atmosphere was something else. The truth is ive know time for the Rangers fans and their "God save the Queen" Ive no time for royals or fekin snobs although back then i just love football.
But one Rangers player i absolutely love was the late great Davie Cooper What a player he was and i was lucky to see him playing live for Rangers and Scotland. Another Rangers player who would have been top class was Ian Durrant he got a bad injury from a tackle in a game against Aberdeen, and he was never the same player ever again after that.
Have a watch of this man he was one of Scotland's most special footballers, maybe one of the only Scottish players that could have played for Brazil.

So in your opinion Kenny couldn't of played for Brazil?

Re: Old Firm argument thread.
I think Kenny could have and maybe a few other scottish players, like Jimmy Johnstone who played for Celtic back in the 60,s and 70,s. But you know what will come now from others on this forum, Alan thinks Dalglish could have played for BrazilJord wrote:So in your opinion Kenny couldn't of played for Brazil?
But the likes of Davie Cooper and Jimmy Johnstone could dribble for fun, Kenny was a different type of player but with a football brain as good as any. Kenny was one of those players that knew what he was going to do or try and do before he got the ball, he could bring others players into the game that did not think they were in the game.
Kenny was a great individual player but also a top class team player, he did so much work for his team mates off the ball with his work rate and especially his intelligent movement to take opposition players out of position and or find space for himself and others. And when he had the ball as ive said he was also great at bringing others into the game by creating space for them with his runs and holding the ball up for them, and he was amazing at creating chances for them with his passing and through balls.

Re: Old Firm argument thread.
1.57 on this i think one of his greatest ever Scotland goals against Belgium and as good as any goal he ever scored.
