- It's not exactly Desmond that killed her, it's The ones who came before (the gods)... they know she is a secret Templar and if she lived she would later on betray Desmond so they controlled him to kill her.. in some really stupid AC Revelations DLC it shows that she defected from the Assassins when she was with Abstergo.
