How?
This is a small fan group thing, not from the club or anything.

With any luck the demise of Rangers Football Club will spell the end of the laughable SPL.

Re: Save Rangers
Good luck to them, they'll need it.
Considering the majority of their supporters are on disability allowance I find it hard to believe they have the resources to stump up £175m to save the club from liquidation.

Re: Save Rangers
The site has had around 6 million pledged.
I can guarantee that at least half of that is from Celtic fans.

Well, we don't know yet. There is no indication of the outcome of the "big tax case" i.e. the £49million. It's still in court and could be up to another 2 months until we hear the verdict.

Re: Save Rangers
It's not impressive at all, I pledged £500 and there's no way of telling if it was bogus or not.
I guarantee the majority of that money was pledged by Celtic fans
Even so, that money doesn't even account for the £15m tax Craig Whyte has not paid since he took over. Never mind the potential £75m tax bill, or the £24m to Ticketus. Looks like liquidation is a certainty here, arguing over the corpse now.

The 24M to Tickets is secured against season tickets, so if they fail to pay that back in time they simply get the ticket rights for the agreed upon time period. It will result in a loss of revenue, but there's no "debt" beyond that with them..
I'm not sure how the downpayment of the tax bill would work, but I don't see it as likely that Rangers would be forced to pay it all back in one go. The problem with this pledge is however that no matter how much they do pledge a large part of it will be taxed as well, so if they do generate 70M that still will not be enough to cover a potential 70M tax bill.

Yeah Ticketus own the rights to the season tickets, meaning Rangers owe the thick end of £40m worth of season books. If Rangers go into liquidation the deal will die but if not they will have hardly any income for the next three years. But you're right in a way it's not debt as such.
Laurencio I'm creating a thread for everything in it so it's not being brought up in every since thread to do with Rangers

How are you detecting any rage from my post? It's clearly just Jela resorting to "you mad" because he can't think of anything else to say.

Trolling?
Why so up tight? Just calm down, in through the nose, out through the mouth, nice and slowly ... that's it, good boy. All better now?
