Should the SPL merge with the football league?

Relegate 2 extra from League 1 with none coming up from League 2 that season so Rangers and Celtic are stuck in a league they can be competitive in.

The rest can be put in league 2 with 10 relegation spots for the first season only so they all drop down to the conference straight away.

I would yes, but I don't think we could cope financially.

We are shipping out like 150-200k a week on wages.

Would Scotlands government even allow it?
They are pushing so much at the moment for independence from the rest of the UK, it would seem a bit strange if their two biggest sports related businesses were included inside an English league

Well from my knowledge those Welsh teams came into the English league system before the Welsh professional leagues came around, they've been kept and I believe that shouldn't be changed, however Rangers and Celtic are in a professional league system, and shouldn't change either.

Edit: You're also not taking into account about the other clubs already in the league system, to do that just so a few more teams can come in is disgraceful, the reason you have to start at the bottom.

But if they start at the bottom then we wont be greeted by Celtic's 10 million fans.

That shouldn't matter, no team should come into what can be considered a 'foreign' league and take preference over the clubs already there, it could potentially destroy some clubs.

Merging Celtic and the Circus across the city with the English leagues would kill Scottish football.

It's only the SFA, SPL and Scottish clubs that'll fix the shit we have atm.
