Re: Coventry City aggro
I remember once at Oldham A copper cracked some lad with his kosh for no reason and the crowd pulled him in and gave him a beating.

Its amazing how much control the Coventry fans have over the police instead of the other way round.

I liked it when they decided to all do a barrel roll down the stairs onto the police

At 5.20 in the video some lad in a light blue jacket gives the copper a crack when he's helplessly laying on the seat.
It's good to see how the fans stick together after they chucked fans out for merely protesting with banners, but I don't think the Cov fans should have resorted to any physical violence.

I have read the video information (or whatever you call it) according to this Coventry fan who uploaded the video the stewards tried to arrest the fan because he was protesting about the club's owners. What's wrong with that? Absolutely nothing. Everyone has a right to protest. The guy also got a 3 year ban.

Surely I'm not the only one who put the video on mute and played this in the background.
The funny hats really add a little something extra too.

Yeah, the stewards do what they are told. I'm pretty sure you'd do what your boss told you to do as well or you'd lose your job. It's simpletons like you who give football fans bad reputations. No surprise you are Liverpool fan either.

So the stewards have been told to arrest people who are protesting about the owners handling of the club? If this is the case, then that is fucking ridiclous.
Also, I'm not going to respond to your terrible bait.

Its not bait if it's the truth. I don't need a reaction.
And no it's not stupid, in the stadium the fans should be supporting the team, not protesting against owners. Go do that outside of the game.

Re: Coventry City aggro
All I can think of is that stewards were told to remove banners on safety grounds i.e fire hazards so they tried to, them fans weren't happy and it kicked off.

Re: Coventry City aggro
Meh, stewards can arrest people and kick them out for no real reason at all.
Agree with James that it's their job...but it's not like they're soldiers sent out to war....they have a decision in what happens.
Fans around me were chanting abuse at Palace fans on the other side of the stand...and all of them were chanting back at us the same shit..so the stewards come and kick out Watford fans just because we're away?
