33 games in, Barcelona and Real Madrid are running away with the league. I'm currently leading the rest of the league. Vela is doing great, scored 20 in 23 league games. He'll be a big loss when his loan ends.

Look at all of these draws too, I should easily have 3rd place secured... I've fucked up with tactics a fair bit when in the lead. Sometimes gone too defensive.

1 thing I want to know too. If i come 4th and lose in the CL playoff, do I go into the Europa League? If I can't get in the top 3, i'm tempted to try blag my way out of the CL spots and just go straight to the Europa League.

Why would you do that? You only get 500k for playing in Europa, wheras you get 6 million for playing in the Champions League.



And yes, if you lose in the playoff, i'm pretty sure you'll be in the Europa.

Didn't think prizemoney different was that big. I thought the big pay off was only if you got into group stages.

Anyway, unless you get into a Best Placed playoff, then you should win pretty easily and get into the CL.

My team isn't that strong, and I doubt i'll get a big transfer kitty. I'm pretty sure i'd finish bottom of a CL group as well.

That 6 million is every reason why ou shoud aim for the CL Groups. Plus you'll get more kitty then too.

We'll see, it is really tight. I think Bilbao are gonna steal 3rd place anyway, leaving a bunch of us fighting for 4th.



Changed my mind, definately gonna finish as high as possible. The club has a balance of -2.5m AND is only offering 5% of transfer sales for me to spend.

I'll end up with a budget of around £4m I reckon.

Finished 4th. Only lost once at home all season, that was to Real Madrid. Average away form made sure I didn't have a say in the title race.

Probably wont change the squad around that much, expectations shouldn't be much higher.

Will need to replace Vela who was insane though.

In the first window I only bought Wilfried, who didn't end up playing much due to Vela's form.


Got just over £11m budget and 200k extra wages for the new season. Gonna just strengthen the squad a little, nothing drastic. Want a centre midfielder that is comfortable playing centre back so I can switch between tactics without making a sub.

Got Besiktas in CL best placed playoff. Tough opponent.

Why didn't you demote those players to your B team instead of releasing them for free? Did you need to get them off your wage bill?

I don't need them and they are pretty shit. My Champions League group isn't that bad. I think I can definately get 3rd place, maybe even sneak through.

Oh man. Was 2-0 up at Bernabeu and ended up drawing 2-2. Good result still, but I wanted that win.

That's what I do with my shit players, send them to the B team so I can get the B team promoted up to Liga Adelante. Would make sending my youngsters, etc over there much better cause they would be playing at a higher level than the B division which is just shit.

Btw, what happens if Real Soceidad B get automatic promotion and Real Soceidad get relegated? Can a B team be in the top league?

Well as your team improves each year, the quality, and maybe even quantity, of players you demote to the B team should improve which should be enough to keep them in that league. Also on the team settings, make sure you take control of the contract renewals and transfers for the B team otherwise your players get sold for shit amounts without your consent.

The B teams can't go any higher than Liga Adelante, any promotion they win gets given to the 2nd place team instead. If Real Soceidad got relegated then the B team would be automatically relegated to the B division, they can't be in the same division.

First CL game, my 5-4-1 demolished their 4-4-2. Good start to the season, should easily get 3rd spot in the group on that display as well. I will post a list of results so far at the end of September.

League is really tight, with that win over Betis I jumped from 15th to 7th. Unbeaten away from home which is nice. I wanted to improve the away form this season, although i've already had more defeats at home than last season so that needs sorting out.

Now this made me feel all warm inside.

At the end of October, here are my results and the league table. 2nd season started pretty well.

Is anyone actually interested in my progress? If no one is following, i'll stop posting updates.

Here's November's games... Amazing 3-2 win at Anfield was the highlight. I'm still unbeaten away from home in all competitions.
