Started a save with them a while ago, almost near the end of the first season.

And my standout player, Susaeta such a beast. Best winger in the game imo, always racks up assist for me. Converted him to a CM as well because his vision was so good.

Almost got beaten by Racing but Susaeta saved the day and won me a point. Good thing too cause Madrid won their game, would have been fucked if I lost cause I still have to face them again in 2 weeks and they are the only team I can't beat.

He was racking up assists for me in FM11 as well. His stats went down and I thought he had reached his peak already but they shot back up after a few games.

Llorente is simply amazing

How do you play Susaeta and Llorente to get those kind of stats?

I played Llorente as a poacher for most of the season. Switched now and then to target man when I used a two striker formation with him and Muniain, but that wasn't very often.

Susaeta is played as a winger - attack. Report said to play him as a playmaker but he played much better as a winger for me.

Susaeta came 3rd in the player of the year award, despite having a better rating than Xavi. Those things are fixed man.

His acceleration is disappointing but his techincals make up for it. I say get Llorente to tutor him and he'll be a world beater.

Make sure whoever you tutor him with has insanely high Ambition and professionalism and stuff, or else it isn't worth it.

Can't you get a tutor to just pass on their off the field stuff?

He's a really nice looking regen at 16. He's gonna turn into a class player.

Not sure which of his stats to focus training on, went for speed but his strength is pretty shocking.

He's 16, and you have Bilbao with world class facilities and coaches. His strength will go up to a comfortable level by the time he is twenty. I'd put focus on his speed and First Touch. Speed because it's not all that great but he looks like a targetman/Llorente replacement in the making so focus on his first touch and jumping at some point as well.

Move him to the first team and start playing him often, even if just as a sub. Only way he'll improve is with training with the first team.

As for 'field stuff' as Zzonked put it, train him individually, don't get a tutor to teach him, unless you want is Det to go down. Actually, go to Llorente and see what he knows, and just teach him the same.

I'm jealous, you got your own Llorente replacement, Toquero can fuck off now.

I moved him and Fernandez into the first team.

Not sure what to do with Toquero, don't want to sell him cause 1) I won't get very much anyway and 2) He's an icon so the fans would be pissed. I was going to move him down to Bilbao to boost their chances of promotion but if I do that I won't be able to get him to tutor a few of my other gems in the U19's.

Toquero is too old for Bilbao, is he not?

IIRC there was an age cap of 26 or something.

Also my fixtures is fucked. Just played Madrid twice, got Barca next to start off the season, then Madrid again in the European Super Cup and then Madrid again in the league for my second match.

Just won the Euro Super Cup, Llorente and Sola are really linking up well. Also Fernandez is becoming a good super sub.

Had my CB sent off early on as well so I had to change to a counter attacking 423 formation.

Horrible start to my second season performance wise, still getting the wins though.

Managed to defend my league title, almost everyone underperformed this season which helped. Barca and Madrid lost more often than usually and 2 of the newly promoted teams where in the top 10 .

Yet again, my star players where Llorente and Susaeta. The amount of games Susaeta won me was too many too count, even when Llorente was going through a bad patch of like 10 games without scoring, he was grabbing me a few last min goals and still racking up shit load of assists.



I'm surprised he scored that many goals because at the start he looked shit. Even replaced him with Sola for a few games and shouted at him to start playing better. Something like, 10/11 games into the season he turns into a beast during league games and started scoring like he did last season. Last game of the season he scores a hattrick past Sevilla to go top of the goalscorers table.



Didn't think it was possible for him to play better than last season but man, what a beast. Half way through the season he already had more than half the assists he had last season. He got injured for a few weeks and missed out on some cup matches, otherwise he probably would have reached the 40 mark. Oh and he won Player of the year finally, was robbed off it last year by David Villa.



Not bad for a 17 year old. His vision and passing is actually better than his stats suggest. Played as a CAM for the majority those appearances as that was the only way I could get him in the team.

Apart from his hattrick agaisnt AC Milan in the CL Semi Final, he didn't really do much worth mentioning.

Still can't get him to play well regularly. Misses a shit load of chances at the moment.
