Re: Anime Thread
Haven't watched that. So not going to watch the rest of the video cause it looks pretty cool.
I've been pleasantly surprised with .hack//SIGN. I expected a blend of sci fi and fantasy with a lot of action, but in reality I got a drama with lots of dialog and something that was actually pretty deep.

Watched Sword of the Strager the other day.
I think I'm going to put on hold my anime watching.
Mostly because Megavideo was my number 1 source for Fansubbed anime.

Re: Anime Thread
Urgh, she's so annoying.
I can't remember what happens at the end, which is bad. There's like two endings for some reason.

I started it but got annoyed at all the whining. Eureka 7 is living up to its reputation though.
Great scene.
Rewatching some of the great Naruto fights. What are some of the best fights you guys have seen? Some of mine:
Soul Eater: Maka vs. Jack the Ripper
Sword of the Stranger: Last Fight
Bleach: Ichigo vs. Byakuya; Ishida vs. Mayuri
Naruto: Gaara vs. Rock Lee; Shikimaru vs. Temarii; Naruto x Sasuke; Sasuke x Itachi;
Yuyu Hakusho: Hiei x Buu; Yusuke x Toguro;
Rurouni Kenshin: Kenshin x Sojiro

Re: Anime Thread
Recently finished Tales of the Abyss, was a bit disappointed with it, I think it was because the plot was a bit hard to follow or just seemed to be missing something.
Started watching Rune Soldier yesterday. I like it so far, it's a whole lot more light hearted than the recent stuff I've been watching but it's a nice change. It's not childish though. Episode 3 has a funny scene

- Spoiler:
- Where one of the female characters is shown from the bust up and she is going up and down and you can hear the main character grunting, and it looks like they are having sex but then the camera zooms out and she is only sitting on top of him as he does his pushups. Fooled me for a sec, I was like, "what the fuck am I watching? "

Haven't watched anything good lately. I just wait for new eps of the series I follow. Someone told the other day that I should check out Hellsing: Ultimate.

Finished Rune Soldier the other day and started watching Texhnolyze, it's pretty cool, it's based in the near future and in a somewhat dystopian society. It's hard to explain and it's a bit confusing at first(the first episode has very little dialog and no dialog at all in the first 10 minutes) but if you stick with it you'll be rewarded.
I'm on episode 7 right now and the last episode tripped me the fuck out.

I gave up on it after about 15 minutes into the first episode. I'll give it another look.

Re: Anime Thread
Yeah, I can see why someone would give up on it. It is sometimes hard to follow. You kinda have to pay attention to it, to understands somethings. Also the story seems to unravel as you watch it. It's not the kind of story that that follows the beginning, middle, and end formula, you start in the middle.
The third and fourth episodes were pretty confusing too, for a chunk of it I was sure I was watching the same episode, they seemed identical but there are subtle differences.
I'm really liking it now. I don't want to ruin anything if you end up watching it but,

- The good guy in the series who seems like one of the protagonist isn't that much of a goody two shoes after all.

Re: Anime Thread
Encountered two shows with interesting art styles. The first, Samurai Girls, is crap (unless you're really into the fan service thing), but the second, Mononoke, is interesting and kinda scary. Well, not really scary, but it has a lot of WTF moments.

Re: Anime Thread
Last anime I watched(which took me way longer than usual) was Legend of the Legendary Heroes.. It was interesting but the pacing was kinda weird. If your the kind of person that needs to know every single detail of what is going on you might now like it. Actually a bit similar to the last anime I watched.
