personally i think they have not underpeformed at all, to me they have performed at the level that any person with sufficient knowledge of football would expect them to, they are midtable players and should have expectations according to this fact but liverpool billeted these players as superstars in waiting, the new legion of technically brilliant and classy british talent to rival barcelona themselves. surely has to be one of the biggest cons of the new decade

Completely agree.

For some reason some Liverpool fans tried to say players like Downing and Henderson would be instant successes because they are proven in this league.

We have tried to break into the top 4 by rebuilding a Newcastle side. Who in turn have improved and are now ahead of us

Another season of our outgoing players being better than the incoming.
