I hate how I come in here and try to have a decent conversation about it all, but instead you all reply to and feed the trolls.

It's unsurprising. Arsene Wenger has been with Arsenal for a long time, and knows a lot of teams inside out.Filippo Inzaghi wrote:So, despite Arsenal having one of the worst starts to a season in their history they are now level on points with Liverpool.
When Kenny was appointed, he had no recent experience, and wasn't up to date with modern football.
Also, Arsenal had an injury hit side, which is quite an achievement made by Wenger for turning this once "hopeless" football team around.

Sorry James, I kinda agree with your points, but Kenny's always been a better man motivator than a tactician though.James wrote:I hate how I come in here and try to have a decent conversation about it all, but instead you all reply to and feed the trolls.

It's funny how we're still above Arsenal after a woeful few weeks of football.

So fucking frustrating. Starting to lose patience with Downing and Henderson, not adding enough going forward.

Motivating alone doesn't make you a good manager anymore. And it has limited his signings too, only people who know the full history of Liverpool will react well enough.
I would have appointed Ranieri (before Inter took him) or even be a little riskier and tried to get Bielsa.

Right,
442 doesn't fucking work.
Adam and Downing are fucking passengers.
Adam can't play in a midfield of 2.
Downing, fucking wank. Enrique did a better job then him on the wing.
Carroll. Meh.
Henderson. Anonymous.
Inability to change tactics halfway through the game, when there not working.
Where the fuck is Maxi?
We can't fucking score.
On the plus side, we got a clean sheet.

Ranieri's not exactly doing the best job at Inter though either. And obviously tactics are much more important than motivating, but it's still an important attribute.James wrote:Bogdan wrote:Sorry James, I kinda agree with your points, but Kenny's always been a better man motivator than a tactician though.

Ranieri is still better than Dalglish though. He'd have a much better idea of who to sign (seeing as he wouldn't just know about British players). And Bielsa would have been ace to watch.

Henderson is truly awful. He shouldn't be starting games as his positional play is completely absent.
Makes me miss the team of 08/09

Our next two games.
Chelsea away. We'll lose by 2 goals.
Man City home, we'll get destroyed.
We'll get knocked out of the Carling Cup too.

To be honest, you should have seen the Arsenal thread and Arsenal match threads during Arsenal's bad run.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
"442 doesn't fucking work." - Silly comment that, it's not as simple as "oh this formation doesn't work, but a different one will", it's about the players, Henderson on the right of a 442 isn't ideal, he tucks inside and makes the play too lob-sided. There is no reason why a 442 with two natural wingers can't work, United have been doing it for years and they've had plenty of success.

I'm not saying it's alright. But saying Arsenal fans are obsessed when Liverpool fans were much worse is bullshit.
