They suck the tities, of such bullshit from our shitty press.
If some off the British press said Rooney is better than Messi, they would believe it.
Oh ... wait.

I'd say Coquelin is quite ready to step up.

I think a quality youngish fullback and attacking player who could play right across the front would do us wonders.

I personally think Frimpongs over-rated but hopefully he should get better with time.
I rate him as a good young player but I just can't see him being able to cope with such a responsibility at his age. Answer this, if Song gets an injury and misses the last few months of the season would you be happy relying on such an inexperienced midfielder to handle most of our defensive duties in midfield? What happens if he comes up against teams like Barcelona, Real, United, Chelsea, City, Milan, Bayern etc. No way am I happy with that.JK wrote:Steadman wrote:

Don't you rate him? I rate him way more than Frimpong. Coquelin has more tactical awareness and he's clever. You can win 50/50's with cleverness as you can with strength. Frimpong is a pretty poor player, imo, he's just a beast and a kind of comedian, I guess.
Coquelin is, imo, ready to be a more than adequate back-up for Song (or to play a defensive role next to Song, for the matter).
I think Arsenal needs to address other positions in the formation. Too bad Wenger brought in players for pretty much every position he needed to strengthen, but lack good quality (read: Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Santos). I guess Arteta and Gervinho were reasonable signings. It means it's more unlikely he'll make a quality signing coming transfer window, unless a player decides to leave.

Wenger's idiocy at his best. Why he keeps playing Song, who continues to perform poor to mediocre every match, and let Coquelin sit on the bench or not even that is beyond me. Sure, Song deserves some credit, but let him know there are other players knocking on the door, to put some pressure on him to perform better. Play Frimpong/Coquelin against sides like Swansea and Wigan. No need for Song. It's not he's going to make a killer pass. Frimpong/Coquelin would do just fine in a match like that. Where's Chamberlain? Where's Miyaichi? One time he plays a team with an average age of 21, next time he plays a team with Arshavin as starter and Benayoun on the bench.
I'm glad that the team's rolling again and performing alright lately, but man, I can't follow this man's thoughts.
