Kenny Dalglish also guided them to a 13th place finish that season and failed to make it out of the group stages of the Champions League, after Keegan had previously guided the same team to back to back 2nd place finishes in the league.Alan wrote:Kuled wrote:Newcastle in the Champions League

50%/10% - Luis Suarez has hit the target with 50% of his shots & scored with 10% since arriving at Liverpool. Wasteful. @GavinSmithLeeds

4 - Since the start of 2007-08, Liverpool's Jose Reina has provided twice as many PL assists as any other goalkeeper (4). Rush.
20 Sep
9 - Liverpool have hit the woodwork nine times in the Premier League this season, more than any other team. Framed.

We'll finish top 4. Be a tough job, but come the end of the season, I honestly believe it'll be so so close between the 6 teams. That's why the Premier League is the best in the world. And In my opinion, 5 of them are good enough to win the league, Arsenal being the exception.
You have to love close competition. It's great.

Do Liverpool play music when they score?
If so, what is it?

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
You need to start finishing off the 'easier' teams then. Plus you have to take into account that Liverpool will more than likely have more games against the relegation candidates and therefore will have just as many tough games at the end of the season as the rest of the top 6.

Tottenham do have a stronger squad than Liverpool all round. Still I think if I was a player, I would rather be managed by Daglish than Arry

Did anyone see the sports section in the Mirror on Saturday.
Something like Liverpool need to beat the smaller clubs.
We went on to draw with a 'smaller club'
We need to get rid of this bottler mentality.

For all the years I have watched Liverpool, we always struggle against the sides we should beat on paper.
We nearly cracked it in 2008/09.
