Honest question here.
Anyone else worried about our defence this season. Especially center backs?

Yes. However, I can't think of anyone we could have signed who would have improved it dramatically.Mr Leiva wrote:Honest question here.

It is always going to be a worry especially when you concede 3 goals every game in pre-season bar one gameMr Leiva wrote:Honest question here.

He's not been the missing cog He's playing in a position which is already filled for us and for arguably the best team in a shit league.

He has ability.
His fitness was shite here. He wanted to do one thing in his mind, but his body was too slow.

Fully fit, he's still not good enough for even the bench.

Who would he replace? At Lille he plays in the hole, he can't do that here, he's limited and will never have the freedom he does in the french league.

Good that we sent him there, considering we get Hazard as part of the deal.

Am not saying I want him back.
He wouldn't make the reserves.

9 games 12 goals 10 conceded. We need to score more and we need to take carragher out straight away.

Chelsea have gone on a run of not keeping a clean sheet either. Don't hear their fans saying as much about it as we are about us.

They don't play a liability at the back every game, which is effecting the team performance.

Not a surprise, you defend deep because 2 of your defenders are very slow.Mr Leiva wrote:Stat attack

Skrtel ain't slow. He plays decent when paired with a decent center back.
He has to cover for a covering defender that can't cover anymore.
EDIT: And that was the point I was making.

Cool story bro.
Just read on rawk that our last run of clean sheets was when we had skrtel and agger playing in the back.
Carragher out.

Why not ask for him to be kicked out? He is worse than useless at this stage.

When you think about it, we're getting Hazard and Hummels soon(scouts repeatedly sighted at Dortmund games), our current plight is nothing to sweat over.
