Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
I still think Suarez's issues can be ironed out. He has the mentality for it. On the other hand I fully expect this erratic finishing to continue well into the near future. Just imagine how many goals he could have scored already this season, how many we could have scored.

Jord wrote:Don't know why you keep going on about Carra for. Defence is clearly not the problem, Jordan.
clearly is.
We have a center back, that can't distribute the ball. Lost all aerial presence. lost strength. Lost pace. And he is hindering the team.
Tonight we should have penned Norwich in. Killed them off. But we didn't. We played deep once again, to accommodate a on the decline defender.
And even if Reina didn't come on. Carragher still lost the aerial battle with Holt. Like he did last week with Welbeck. Tim Cahill the week before. If Reina trusted his center back to win the header, he wouldn't have come out for it.
Plus 2 clean sheets in the last 11 games is disgusting.
Plus the balance in the team is all wrong. The strikers are too isolated at times. Because we are playing too deep. The midfield is too stretched, and over run.
When Gerrard and Adam support the attack. The defence should push up, and cover them. They don't. So when we are caught in possession there is gaps between the midfield and defence. So their players have acres of space to exploit.
People may say we drew because we didn't convert our chances. But there are so many problems in this team that need addressing.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
We've just had 25 shots on goal, if we finished well we could have won that game about 8-1, their goal came from a 'keepers mistake, and you're going on about Carra? We all know he's not the best but come on, at least have a go at the right area of the team. Blaming him about not winning the ariel battle with Holt, Cahill and Welbeck, for a start, Welbeck didn't cause us any problems all game so it's irrelevant and Cahill beat him a few times in the opening 20 minutes but then went missing. As for Holt, you're complaining that he didn't win that ariel battle from the cross, fucking hell, what do you want him to do when he's got a 6'2" goalkeeper flying out at him, if he goes for it and gets in his way, he gets slated, if he trusts Pepe to collect, which is what Pepe wants him to do whenever he gets the shout, and the 'keeper messes up, he still gets blamed?
Once he hears the shout of "Keepers" he shouldn't go for that ball, he didn't go for the ball, therefore the blame lies with the goalkeeper.

If we won 8-1 it would have been papering over cracks. The defence is so shakey it is untrue.
2 fucking clean sheets in 11 games. Our defence is leaky as shit.
How can we expect 4th or beyond when we can't keep a clean sheet?
This is one problem off many.

Correct me if I've forgotten one, but we've missed both our penalties this season. Damning example of how we just don't capitalise on our opportunities.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
I'm very frustrated after getting up at 5am to watch a game we should have won
So frustrated and tired I am contemplating taking away Suarez's Clinical Finisher trait on FIFA 12
Also I feel with the amount of quality crosses coming into the box through out the match it would have been a smarter idea to have Carroll playing more than just the last 10 minutes. But thats just my opinion
oh and Agger should be starting

Which Liverpool player throws his hands around in anger most of the time? Should answer your question.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Now I'm no super manager, but in New Zealand I coached a team of 11 year olds
now they couldn't score
so at the next training, I put them in front of the keeper and the goal and made them practice shooting for the whole hour. By the end of training they were getting better and could finally hit the back of the net
in the next game we completely dominated our opponents and won 4-1
I believe Kenny should do something similar

I dislike it when Suarez doesn't get the ball and has a little hissy fit. It really fucks me off

No, I am brilliant, however even I cannot always ascertain the identity of a player through a small .gif file.Jay wrote:Suarez obviously, are you stupid?

Roberto Soldado would be nice
but knowing us if we sign a striker it'll be somebody like Grant Holt *facepalm*
