That's a pretty pathetic dive by Downing...what is he thinking?

Liverpool's goal was offside as well by the way, Suarez was distracting the goalkeeper from an offside position.

I actually thought about that.ResurrectionRooney wrote:Liverpool's goal was offside as well by the way, Suarez was distracting the goalkeeper from an offside position.

Dalglish has certainly got those benefits he was after.
Guest- Guest
Technically it shouldn't be a goal, he was blocking the site of the ball and dancing infront of De Gea, from an offside position. Hmm...
It was never going to be given though, unfortunately.

@ RR haha I don't think you really believe that - you're just winding people up.

yeah I believe that - I'll watch the highlights..
I don't think he actually believes Dalglish is getting benefits from the refs..

Oh, nah he probably doesn't, it's one of them calls I'm not surprised wasn't given and probably would have made no difference to Gerrard scoring, just technically it was offside, but I didn't say anything because I didn't see it make a difference.El_indian wrote:yeah I believe that - I'll watch the highlights..

maybe Giggs knew the ball was coming for his nuts and backed away because he knew Suarez was offside and was using that as a safety net..

Didn't someone mention Anderson doing the same for United, in the Liverpool thread? I bet RR didn't have a problem when it was his team getting the benefit.

Anderson doesn't do it in an offside position though.

Suarez didn't touch the ball - the goalkeeper should be composed enough to keep his eye on the ball.
Clearly not.

Oh right I forgot you had to touch the ball to be offside, thank you for teaching me the rules, I am forever in your debt.lvrpl4life wrote:Suarez didn't touch the ball - the goalkeeper should be composed enough to keep his eye on the ball.

I'm not really surprised or complaining about the decision, just saying it was offside.

Dalglish said he was going to talk to the owners about getting benefits from the referee, he talked with the owners, and he talked with the referees chief. Since then, suddenly Liverpool start getting a load of unfair decisions for them. Rodwell gets sent off for a good tackle on Suarez, Downing is allowed to dive without being booked for it (even when the referee sees it!), Lucas recklessly charges into a Man Utd defender, headbutting him and leaving him a crumpled heap on the floor, not even a book, when Charles Adam dives he gets a free kick for it, when Suarez distracts the goalkeeper from an offside position nothing happens, when Suarez allegedly calls Evra a n!gger 10 times, Evra gets booked for reacting.
That's a lot of fucking benefits for it to be a coincidence.
Wasn't in an offside position, dick head.Scouser_Dave wrote:Didn't someone mention Anderson doing the same for United, in the Liverpool thread? I bet RR didn't have a problem when it was his team getting the benefit.

In the context of Law 11 – Offside, the following defi nitions apply:
• “nearer to his opponents’ goal line” means that any part of a player’s
head, body or feet is nearer to his opponents’ goal line than both the
ball and the second-last opponent. The arms are not included in this
defi nition
• “interfering with play” means playing or touching the ball passed or
touched by a team-mate
• “interfering with an opponent” means preventing an opponent
from playing or being able to play the ball by clearly obstructing
the opponent’s line of vision or movements or making a gesture or
movement which, in the opinion of the referee, deceives or distracts an
opponent
• “gaining an advantage by being in that position” means playing a ball
that rebounds to him off a goalpost or the crossbar having been in an
offside position or playing a ball that rebounds to him off an opponent
having been in an offside position

Ashley young dived without getting booked which won u a free kick, you failed to take advantage of it.
Tv cameras prove there was contact on adam so like Ronaldo he just went down easily.

There was a thread a while back where there were some Liverpool fans saying they wouldn't want Ronaldo, regardless of his ability, because he's a despicable cheat. Is that now the standard of behaviour that Liverpool players aspire to, and are to be judged by?

The fact that you are happy to descend to the level you perceive 'Man U' to be at is extremely worrying.

that's exactly what it is - a coincidence.
I don't think you actually believe he's getting these benefits, you just continue to refer to this for the sake of winding people up.

It should be investigated, it's very wrong for Dalglish to even seek these benefits the fact he has got them is a disgrace to the PGMO.El_indian wrote:ResurrectionRooney wrote:

Why? There are about 4 Chelsea fans on this forum, and AVB hasn't behaved anywhere near as badly as Kenneth Dalglish.SpiritOfShankly wrote:Funny how villas boas hasn't been mention by rr
