You guys are looking at this all wrong, there is no crime of paedophilia, none. There is a crime of rape, which is having sex with someone without their consent, and people under the age of 16 cannot give consent. In the eyes of the statute law a 16 year old guy shagging a 15 year old girl is rape, but thanks to common law, they would never be found guilty, or even charged so long as it wasn't forced.

If any of us met someone in a club, take them home, do things kuled could only dream of and it turns out she is only 15, and afterwards tells her parents who aren't too happy about it, what happens then? Does it still come under the common law thing? I mean the guy could be 22, 23 whatever. Or does the club take responsibilty for letting in a 15 year old? Or will the guy be found guilty?
I imagine there has been a fair few guys in this position.
