Weird question, does anyone occasionally feel afraid of falling asleep? I feel stupid, but when I think about it, I'm not comfortable with losing control of the body and being forcibly removed from a physical state. Anyone?

I used to be afraid of going to sleep incase I never woke up.

When I try to sleep I can't. If I'm listening to my iPod or whatever and I see its 1:30 and think "shit I need to sleep" when I actually think "right let's go to sleep now" I can't, I just start thinking about loads of other things, its really weird.

I still can't get to sleep on Christmas Eve.

The only reason I'm afraid of going to sleep is either that I've got that wake-up feeling or how much quicker I'm back in school and in the middle of another day.
