It's partly due to the reluctance of our fans to depart from the skip to the In2print stand due to the price difference of £5 a ticket from behind the goal to that of the In2print stand
The wymans mainly formed as sound generally struggles to getpast the half way line in the speedy skips stand, due to the low roof. For the wymans to be succesfull ultras (if they choose to be) then they'd need around 50 lads at every game or we'd end up with 10 or so fans waving flags and singing crappy eastern European songs. Kind of like those Morecambe fans.created at WR
At the moment, I can't fault the Wymans one bit and they still stick to traditional cheltenham songs (we can't read) and have a song for every player, and I've yet to see them get in any trouble or slag the team off during the game.

You don't want to as it's a shit although that was probably because we lost 2-0.Burytilidie wrote:I'm sticking with my boy ctfc~ced although i haven't visited Edgar Street yet.

Yep its a shithole no one can deny that, people like the traditional feel of it though and it can generate a good atmosphere.
Was funny seeing Leeds fans getting mardy because they was losing to Hereford United in a league match though.

Re: npower Football League 2011/2012
I might be the only one, but does anyone else always look out for how nice the ticket is at away games? I always like to check and see if the clubs tickets are a nice size to go in my wallet and look nice. Leeds tickets are a good size for the wallet as they're long and thin so don't stick out, look quite good as well. Just got my Burnley ones and these are looking like possibly the nicest ones of the season so far, West Ham had a nice design but were far too big!
Man, that is pretty sad.

I do the same, Rotherhams tickets are decent.

You wouldn't be impressed with Morecambe's tickets then, pink paper slips.

Personally I love our stadium as it has all the assemblement of a traditional football ground (speedy skips stand, main grandstand), as well as being modernized to be of suitable football league standard. All the stands are very close to the pitch meaning you pretty much get an excellent view in all stands. The In2print stand along the side of the pitch doesn't even have any barriers at the front of the stand to stop people going onto the pitch or players falling into the fans. Some times when teams take long throw ins, the players take a few steps into the main exists of the stand .

Aye, I'm gutted that Torq don't do any tickets, would love to get a few. However, a few cunts I know travel the world getting tickets, like we're talking, spending thousands just to go and get tickets/programmes or those shitty pin badges.
Fucking sad little anoraks.

Me and my mates were laughing about that last season as your fans were basically on the pitch at half time.CTFC~ced wrote:coolhead33 wrote:

As for the tickets, the worst I got was at Wimbledon which how exactly as Radford describes Morecambes - pink paper slips, which fell apart in my pocket as it was pissing down.

Yeah a Torquay fan
We both fielded an ineligible player in the same game.

I like most grounds apart from Kenilworth Road, Fratton Park, Roots Hall and the Emirates to be honest.Radford11 wrote:

I used to when I first went to games but don't bother much now. I have most if not all the tickets of games I've been to though.Uncle John from Jamaica wrote:I might be the only one, but does anyone else always look out for how nice the ticket is at away games? I want to see your ground now. Do many players jump into the fans after scoring?CTFC~ced wrote:

It doesn't happen that much unless it's an important last minute winner/equalizer as the player would get booked for celebrating with the fans. I remember last season us scoring 2 goals in the last 5 minutes to draw 2-2 against Torquay in front of the wymans. Some of the wymans ended up on the pitch with the players celebrating the goal .

Worst ticket I've got was Sheffield United. It's like somebody has scanned the red ticket into a computer and then re printed it on a bigger piece of card so there's a big white gap at the side. Hard to describe but I'm sure Coolhead will see what I mean.

I laughed when it showed your owners (I think?) on those SSN highlights, they looked a right funny pair.

Re: npower Football League 2011/2012
Whenever our fans go on the pitch they get chucked out. Some fairly old lady got banned for life or something and against Watford they tried to chuck a fat guy out but they kept falling over with him. I think it must of took 2-5 minutes to drag him out.CTFC~ced wrote:CTFC~ced wrote:

I can't remember and the ticket is hidden somewhere in the loft now. I have all the away ones since Doncaster and a random MK Dons one in my room right now. They all look shit. The Birmingham one is green which surprised me.Uncle John from Jamaica wrote:Worst ticket I've got was Sheffield United. Do you get to every game then? Or most of them? Met a bloke on the way to Brighton (ended up getting a taxi with him) who hadn't missed a game for 4 years, couldn't imagine that.
I've been to 10 this season though, didn't think it was that many! Might make 20 by the end of the season although I doubt it because there aren't many feasible away days after Christmas and I don't bother with homes as much.
