Waterstones are selling it for £12.99 according to their website. Will be buying it from them tomorrow, if that deal is the same in store.

Interesting words from Pepe. Pretty much sums up everything I felt on the Hicks and Gillette reign. I respect Carragher and Gerrard immesnly for not speaking out, but then I respect the likes of Reina, Rafa and 'Nando
FOR speaking out, moral of the story was, there was no right or wrong if you spoke out or didn't, you did what you had to do. It was all about pulling together and just hoping Hicks and Gillette were ousted from the club as as soon as possible. I'd go into more detail, but it's old news.

How can you respect one set for speaking out and respect the other for not speaking out? If there's nothing right or wrong to do then surely none of them deserve respect for it?

Carragher was quite happy anyway because he was getting a fat new contract which he didn't deserve to appease the fans.

I know what you mean, I would join another forum but I've always liked the more relaxed aspect of this place, as opposed the forums like RAWK which have too many members for my liking, it's a shame about the lack of proper discussion though. Too many trolls have put some of the decent posters off unfortunately.

The loss of key members is one of the main factors why I've stopped posting as much. If I post a lot it's usually in big chunks.

But Deans right, football discussion wise it's gone pretty stale. Especially this thread which is just plastered in RR and Alan posts.

I remember the good old days when Dan, Jamie, Dean and Scott etc. were all more active, there was arguments, but at least there was a bit of decent football discussion involved.

I logged on yesterday for the first time in about a week and a half (I pretty much used to be on here and active daily at one point) so anyway, thought I'd catch up with the thread, sat down, coffee in hand, and seriously I read 6 pages of Alan just biting to RR, I just sat there shaking my head, now I'm gunna say a few things now which people might not like... But I'm saying it, how it is, that's the way I am.

Why the fuck Alan gets involved with the trolls of the forum I will never know, it's a fucking joke, he's basically as bad as them, replying, because they come back for more... He's 38 for fucks sake. I know wait for Alan to reply with the ever predictable 'You're not the boss of this thread and anyway I'm only having a wee wind up, but I will stop if it's annoying the Liverpool fans (bare in mind he says this every fucking time, yet still carry's on)

And I've also noticed Jay and Jordan getting involved with RR a lot more as well, I ask myself why? Alan's a plantpot and couldn't tell his ass from his elbow, but you 2 know better enough than to be getting involved with him on 'Liverpool' related discussions.

But then gradually, over these past few months, the standard of posting just dropped dramatically, can someone explain to me why? 'Cos I can't work it out.

Only reason people like me bother replying to RR sometimes is there is literally nobody else to talk to, that's how bad it's got. When there were 10+ quality posters, he was easy to ignore, you could just skip past his post and read loads of better ones underneath. Now you can't. Now it's one of his shit posts, somebody makes a short post about something, then he's back in with more comments.
Back at the start of this forum, it was 5 pages of decent enough discussion with 3 or 4 troll comments put in, which people would ignore, because there was good discussion going on. Now the good discussion has gone, the shitty arguments are outweighing the better posts. The only time I reply to him is when the thread is dead, unfortunately, the amount of times when this thread goes 6 hours without a good bit of discussion is increasing, therefore more and more people resort to replying to him, because it's the only thing to post about.

Jamie never left. He had a massive, massive post count and posts every single day. Chris banned him on the sly just before he got de-modded. (don't think anyone on the admin team has even noticed yet lol)

He'll be back pretty soon now that I've said this. He'll get unbanned. Poor guy must have been fuming. The fact he doesn't tell people his facebook or anything too means he couldn't get in contact with anyone about it

But dont post your bullshit to me Dean, I came on here fot football discusion and guess what i got abuse from people sometimes you included and others started calling me a paedophile, and what did the mods do at first absolutely fuck all so i started to bite back. Great forum that sum people even thought is was funny that my mate had lost a fucking kid.
