For me, when everyone is fit and we've got a full squad to choose from, that in my opinion is our strongest 11 and that's personally what I would play.

For United game.

Shelvey starting for Blackpool.

Doubt gerrard will start agianst man utd

Good play, I have always thought Gerrard would make a great defensive midfielder.

Both games, Gerrard has come on and played in a deeper position than he normally does. Just keeps play ticking.

At least we know we've got options anyway. It's great to have that depth. United game will show just how good we are though or at least how we're shaping up for the season ahead.

That game and the Arsenal one were pretty similar.

Well when he struggles to stop, control the ball and pass it 10 yards, it's fucking hard to call him a good one. And as for the goal, there wasn't anything 'brilliant about it, all's he had to do was swing is leg round it and he did that. I'd of buried that 99/100. I just hope he gets confidence from that and starts playing a lot better, he needs to, because at the moment, goal or not, he doesn't deserve a place in the team.
