Re: Manchester United FC Official Thread
I could easily say that Berbatov doesn't play well with Hernandez though, as I think he's better when up top on his own.

I'd be more confident with them two than Danny + Chicho.

Re: Manchester United FC Official Thread
Berbatov is best with Rooney, Hernandez is best with Rooney, Welbeck is best with Rooney, because only Rooney can do what Rooney does, so when there is no Rooney we should just pick our two strikers based on form, and I'd certainly have Welbeck and Hernandez as Welbeck can actually play nice football, it's not like you'd have two poachers.

I reckon Young will be okay. Didn't look too serious when he went off on Friday.
I'm probably wrong though.

Hope to see Fletcher getting himself firmly back into the first team again. I've always been a fan of his.

Would anyone be confident with Giggs in the centre?

Fletcher is not good enough to start for us, why you would hope for him to get back into the first team is beyond me.thechampion wrote:kyro7 wrote:

Re: Manchester United FC Official Thread
Since Fletcher has got into the team our footballing level has dropped, Carrick keeps us ticking with tidy passing, as does Cleverley, Fletcher is poor and shouldn't be in our team, you hoping for that makes me question you.thechampion wrote:kyro7 wrote:I'm sorry I can't speak to you about our team when you make comments like this.

Don't see why not, we've beaten better teams than Liverpool with Carrick-Giggs as a CM.VivaRonaldo wrote:Would anyone be confident with Giggs in the centre?

Re: Manchester United FC Official Thread
Ordinarily I'd agree, but against Liverpool our record with Fletcher playing is far better than without him. In our last 7 games against Liverpool we've won the 3 that he's started and lost the 4 that he hasn't. That sways me towards him getting the nod, perhaps alongside Carrick and Giggs or Anderson.VivaRonaldo wrote:ResurrectionRooney wrote:Don't see why not, we've beaten better teams than Liverpool with Carrick-Giggs as a CM.

You expecting a 451 then? With Carrick behind Giggs + Anderson?

So, Vidic played for Serbia and missed a penalty.. which cost Serbia big time, do you think his mind will be right for Liverpool?

Unconfirmed reports from Serbia that Vidic has retired.

Would love it if he's retired from Serbia.
Hopefully Rio is next- but I can't see him "turning his back" on England.

4 - Ashley Young is England's top scorer since the end of the 2010 World Cup (all in 2011). Danger man
Impressive from Young.
