Not one quote from Real and I bet some fans will actually believe this.

People's expected line ups?
Need Cleverley if we're gonna keep passing and moving, but that leaves alot of space between mid and defenders, where Meireles kept getting space in there last year. If Carrick plays we have a bit of cover but limits us going forward.

De Gea
Smalling Rio Jones Evra
Carrick Anderson
Nani Young

I know, it's outrageous if they think he's worth that. He's clearly shown he's worth £50million, minimum.

Thats some formation, 4-2-2-1-1.
De Gea
Smalling Rio Vidic Evra
Nani Anderson Cleverley Young
Rooney Welbeck
No doubt Carrick and Fletcher will probably be in the middle though.

Re: Manchester United FC Official Thread
My expected lineup, one of these:
Rooney
Park ------------------------------ Nani
Anderson Carrick Fletcher
Evra --- Evans --- Ferdinand --- Jones
De Gea
Or
Hernandez/Welbeck
Park --------- Rooney ---------- Nani
Anderson - Fletcher
Evra -- Evans -- Ferdinand -- Jones
De Gea
What I'd start:
Welbeck
Park ----- Rooney ------- Nani
Anderson -- Carrick
Evra -- Evans -- Ferdinand -- Jones
De Gea
This is assuming no Young, no Cleverley, no Smalling and no Vidic. Park ------------------------------ Nani
Anderson Carrick Fletcher
Evra --- Evans --- Ferdinand --- Jones
De Gea
Or
Hernandez/Welbeck
Park --------- Rooney ---------- Nani
Anderson - Fletcher
Evra -- Evans -- Ferdinand -- Jones
De Gea
What I'd start:
Welbeck

Its an attacking 442
Nani and Young would obviously be wide, its just how it came out.

Me too, only problem is the gap it leaves behind. Meireles got in there (between mid and defence) too much last year and caused us alot of problems.

If we could play how we had been I don't care, we'd score more than them.

No fucking shit. Im talking about how he tore us apart when he got too much space behind our midfielders.
