Oh my god you really are fucking thick aren't you, that's like Tevez, he went to them and they took to him because he's good and they've got him off a rival... and they know it pisses off the other set of fans seeing him do well, now taking Tevez back after all that's been said and done, don't tell me I'd love him because I tell you what I'd still dislike him, I'd obviously celebrate his goals and hope he done well, but I'd never love him and a lot of what you've just said makes me think you're a complete spastic because you use the most poor reasoning.VivaRonaldo wrote:Steadman wrote:Be like Arsenal fans welcoming back Emmanuel Adebayor.

Doesn't mean Arsenal fans would, some would, but not all. Sometimes the relationship between a player and a club is just too damaged to repair with a simple apology and a good run of form.VivaRonaldo wrote:Steadman wrote:Be like Arsenal fans welcoming back Emmanuel Adebayor.

If you compare that with Tevez scoring v us and going mental, talking shit about our club then you're a dick.
He didn't talk shit about the club. He complained about Ferguson's behaviour in a foreign language, complained about his tactics in the 2009 CL Final (absolutely right to do that by the way, so did your boy Ronaldo) and his words were translated into English. I don't judge him based on what he says in the media, I judge him on his actions, go and watch the Man Utd Vs. Man City game, I'm sure you have it downloaded, look at his reaction when he came out of the tunnel, and was booed. He was stunned.
The reason he didn't go to Liverpool even though they were in the Champions League was respect for Man Utd fans, Man City aren't seen as rivals to anything like the extent City are to us. Let's assume his surprise at being booed was genuine, assume that he is not an actor - it follows that he didn't think he had done anything to slight United. If he didn't think he was doing it AT THE TIME, then he doesn't deserved to be vilified and hated for it.
The only times he went mental after a goal (and he had a lot of opportunities) were when he scored them, and all of this came after he received a shitload of abuse from Manchester United fans, that's enough to make anyone angry.

Did you dislike Rooney when he said he wanted to leave and we "lacked ambition". People were calling for his head, look what happened after a couple of good performances. Im sure if Tevez started playing well for us it would change alot of people's opinions.

Maybe the media have twisted what he's said and I've been gullible but I can never like him. and for him to not go to Liverpool out of respect for us, then going to City is fucking shite. I'll never love him ever.ResurrectionRooney wrote:kyro7 wrote:

No, I never hated Rooney, I agreed that we lacked ambition, me and Rooney were both wrong.VivaRonaldo wrote:Did you dislike Rooney when he said he wanted to leave and we "lacked ambition". Dont get me wrong here mate, because I also agreed with him. But Im just saying when he came out and said that alot of people got fairly pissed off. Then after a few good games he was back on fine terms with everyone..

That's them, I never abused Rooney or went mad at him, obviously I was massively disappointed but never hated him.VivaRonaldo wrote:kyro7 wrote:No, I never hated Rooney, I agreed that we lacked ambition, me and Rooney were both wrong.

I'm sure I said stuff like.. if he wants to go he can fuck off.. but I believe that about any player, if they want to leave then bye, but if they stay then I'm happy.

I'm not claiming it as such, but I believe it.
Who would be advising him the most when he's here? Joorbchian. In whose interest is it that he goes to City rather than staying at United? Tevez's? Not really, only financially, and he's incredibly rich already. It's sure as fuck in the businessman Joorabchian's interest for him to move to City though. His fee to move to United was capped at £25.5m, when he moved to City, there was no cap, and the transfer market had just been vastly inflated by the Kaka and Ronaldo deals - The Times claimed they had paid over £40m for him.
What I believe happened is that Jooarabchian advised Tevez that the Man Utd fans wouldn't really care about the move to City, but Liverpool would be pissing on the fans, so he should move to City, to prevent him having to uproot his family and such. He goes to City, becomes the highest paid player in the world, fee of £40m+, and Joorabchian gets his cut of all that. Who is going to tell him that Joorabchian is wrong, and the fans would be infuriated by it? Ferguson? I've not heard much of his Spanish recently, and Tevez was unhappy with the way Ferguson treated him anyway. Ronaldo? He split anyway.
I genuinely believe that had he been better informed, he wouldn't have gone to City, he'd have gone to Inter or somewhere like that, they were going mental for strikers at the time.

Not sure.
Evras been shit for a while now, would he be that big of a miss?
Suarez been injured as well, or so I'm hearing. Could be an interesting derby now.

Anyone noticed how awful Lindegaard's distribution was against Norwich?
