What do you mean those days don't come around as often as they used to? When he's fit he's generally a rock, he had an off year 09/10 but his defensive displays are phenomenal usually, as good as Vidic when fit. scratch

Jones has been getting plenty of game time so that doesn't come into the situation for our game v Liverpool, that's nothing to do with it.

    Welbeck/Hernandez*

    Young ------------ Rooney ----------------- Nani

    Anderson - Carrick/Cleverley**

    Evra ------ Vidic ------- Ferdinand ----- Smalling

    De Gea

I don't know why but I prefer Smalling, feel more comfortable with him playing for some reason but wouldn't be too arsed with him or Jones starting either way. Laughing If Nemanja isn't back I'd obviously have one of the two at CB and one at RB with Rio also at CB.

    * = Welbeck for me is the better player of the two, no doubt about that in my mind but I feel Hernandez is better in away games where it might be more stretched, like today Norwich were sitting deep and that just destroys Hernandez's whole game, so I really wouldn't mind either way as Welbeck would probably help our build up play but Hernandez would hopefully cause a threat like v Bolton, either way it'll be good to have the other one coming off the bench.

** = If Cleverley is fit I'd have him starting, no doubt about it for me, the way he's played his short passing is priceless for us, and him and Anderson struck up a fantastic partnership, but if he's not fit then lets just all fucking hope Fletcher is nowhere to be seen, I really don't know why he's starting games atm, Carrick is far and away the better footballer and compliments Anderson's game much much more.

    That team will rape us.

Used to be shit and overrated, now he's just shit.

Saying that, maybe he should play in a couple of weeks, he tends to turn on what little talent he has against you guys. Maybe he just feels more at home on the pitch with Liverpool players.

Just watched a programme on Danny Welbeck. When he was 7 or 8 he played for City, for 3months. They told him he wasn't good enough, we took him on and he's been with us ever since.

Same happened with Giggs and look how good he turned out Manchester United FC Official Thread - Page 17 3925848005

Hopefully Cleverley and Anderson stay fit for the rest of the season (pray) We can keep on playing that wonderful football. We haven't been doing that ever since Cleverley got injured Neutral

Once those 3 games are out the way we have a quite an easy run in during the new year, where games pile up.

Will would have played Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, City and Everton by then. Most of the hard games out the way until February.
