Spearing should play in the derby. Being a scouser and that.

Spearing is shit. Luckily for him shit is better than Adam. Well I say luckily...how good a player is doesn't matter anymore. New signings play, it's a rule.
Adam will probably get sent off again for a wreckless lunge and then mongs will worship him for showing derby spirit.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Mads Jørgensen, including played for AGF and Brondby, has been employed by the English club Liverpool.
- I see a lot of youth football at home, so I keep updated on what's going on in Danish youth football.
- In short, I help to ensure that a type Nicolai Boilesen not switch to Ajax Amsterdam, but instead goes to Liverpool at a young age, says Mads Jørgensen spn.dk
Full time
And it is youth football, now 32-year-old Mads Jørgensen should concentrate on.
- In the super league is not someone who can go directly to Liverpool's team says the newly hired scout.
Martin Jorgensen's brother works full time for Liverpool in the coming year, after he has been selected from a stack of applicants.
- I contacted the club when I stopped playing himself, and when they changed the sports director and made their system that I was contacted and was interviewed, says Mads Jorgensen.

Get Xavi Valero to fix Reina and then sign Dominguez. Would be a great start.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Kuyt has to play, he always puts a shift in against Everton. I wouldn't feel comfortable with a 3 man midfield, they played a 5 man midfield against City yesterday and they have some strong midfielders. I can't believe our direct back-up for Adam is Spearing, when we had Meireles and Aquilani just before the season started.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Adam is not shit. He's playing way below his usual standard atm, but even then he's still contributed to the team. He assisted Suarez against Sunderland, he scored against Bolton, he assisted Skrtel in the same game and was the instigator of the own goal yesterday (he got past a Wolves player quite gracefully just before the shot too, if I may say so) That's 4 goals on his head, in 6 games.
Not only that, but he's set up a few beautiful chances which have been squandered by our other players, mostly Suarez. For example, in one game, he sent an amazing ball over the top to put Suarez through on goal, which he mis-controlled instead of laying it off to Kuyt. In the same game he sent another fantastic ball over to Downing, who failed to get past a defender (whom handled it just outside the box)
Adam is capable of playing a lot better than he is currently, as seen for Blackpool. I remember watching him play against Spurs last season and he was head on shoulders above everyone else on the pitch, creating everything, starting every attack.
It's easy to pick out players to put the blame on, but it doesn't work like that. It's a team game. When we play badly, it's down to the whole team. Blaming Adam and calling him shit is just desperation imo. The same team that played shit against Spurs and Wolves also played really well against Bolton and Stoke and beat Arsenal 2-0. So we know they're capable of putting in a good performance. Same goes to everyone calling Henderson invisible, it's not his fault. It's pretty hard to play well when the team around you is playing shit too. I guess he was invisible when he scored against Bolton? Downing has been 'invisible' too recently, but I don't see him getting the same criticism. It's the team's fault. Not individuals.
Calling players shit, and blaming bad performances on them is a pathetic move, especially when you already have a 'dislike' for them.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Why do you think our centre midfield is getting bypassed by terrible players?
He does absolutely nothing defensively, if the team loses the ball he literally walks around the pitch while Lucas has to be in 2 different places at once trying to cover for Adam aswell as do his own work.
And no, this isn't out of the ordinary for Adam, he had a lot of shit games for Blackpool.

You'd think Carroll would always be the furthest man forward but he technically plays behind Suarez. That ball he put in for Suarez when he was on the left wing was amazing. His distribution and flick ons were so much better yesterday. If he scored that goal then he would of been my MOTM.

Looking at Henderson passing completion stats, you think he was excellent player.
but he isn't.

Ah yes, the old reliable 5-1-4 formation. I'm sure all of your players will be well prepared for that.

He could have easily scored when Suarez did. I think Suarez cut back because he saw Carroll coming (who was wide open and ready to tap it in) but Suarez changed his mind, went back and took the goal himself.

I already posted what I'd play for Everton, but I'll post it again.
In Carroll, Bellamy, Suarez, Kuyt, Spearing, Gerrard and Carragher. We've got players who won't be bullied and won't be messed with, especially in an important Derby fixture (the type of game Carragher usually excels in). Add the physical presence of Skrtel, Enrique and Kelly to that, it's a pretty beast team.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Adam's stats are so decieving. His assists and goals all come from set-pieces. Downing can probably take a better corner too.
His pass completion is shit though. We need someone who can keep the ball and play the odd key pass.
