I think the referee could have let the first one go without a booking, seemed overly intent on stamping his authority at the start, it became a bit "Well if I gave a yellow for the previous foul I better give one for this, too" after a while.

The 1-0 scoreline was very flattering to us though.

We got hammered, we deserved to lose, let's leave it at that.

Didn't see the match but the scoreline will never be harsh when a man is sent off because it is the fault of the team

Drop Carragher.

Play either Skrtel/Coates/Agger/Wilson center back.

Put Kelly as right back.

Push this defensive line up, and support the strikers.

Don't think Dalglish will drop Carragher. Not for some time, hopefully I am wrong.

What? It's the only time we've been comprehensively outplayed this season, so yes, it may be a one-off.

I'm not just talking about this season, and I'm not talking about being comprehensively outplayed.

We've played really well some games but there has been a number of games that we didn't turn up at all for - Spurs x2, Braga x2 are a few since Dalglish took over.(1 or 2 more I'd guess)

You can't keep writing them off as off-days when they happen regularly.

Flanagan would have got raped. In hindsight he would have done a better job.

Dalglish's success at the end of last year was all down to the good performances the young lads put in when thrown in at the deep end. I don't see why he's so cautious this year. I would much rather have seen young Flanagan played at RB, seeing as he may be a future starter, than have Skrtel, who was likely to be destroyed as well anyway.
