Same thing tbh. Van Persie would drop deep alot though like he already does but instead of leaving nobody up front Theo would be there and Van Persie could utilize his passing aswell.

Yeah,I think we need a bit more drive from the midfield to burst into the box perhaps when Wilshere comes back we'll see him bursting forward alot aswell and perhaps Frimpong could develop that way seems a very explosive player at times,I sometimes think we could do with a proper box to box player though when its v.Persie vs 4 defenders the final balls always going to be extremely difficult

Even Wilshere needs to start making more forward runs, that may come with age as to when it's right to venture forward. I think to some extent our players can be a bit cautious because of our proneness to be countered on. When you look at past Arsenel sides we had a strong, reliable defence and two commanding central midfielders in front of them to break up play, which left our attack so much more attacking freedom.

A player like Yaya Toure alongside Alex Song would be amazing. The pair of them would be able to control our midfield and while one attacks the other would protect our defence. Could be a lot like a Vieira - Gilberto partnership, which could also see us utilize a 4-4-2 effectively.

up front on his own won't be that great tbh. Chamberlain won't be a
starter for us this season knowing Wenger. Rosicky's the best player
we've got who can play in the hole along with van Persie, but I'd rather
not risk the goals of van Persie just to suit Walcotts' needs.

We don't have Yaya though so we'll have to settle for Frimpong. Who is like Essien but better.

Yeh because Van Persie wouldn't steam into the box anyway? Wouldn't hurt RVP at all, its his best position.

Walcott wouldn't be upfront on his own, look at Rooney with Hernandez, Rooney is all over the place, and Hernandez running in behind gives Rooney much more space to operate in, same thing would go for Walcott.

For some reason people think if you have Van Persie in the hole on a piece of paper before the game it means he doesn't enter the box anymore.

Wouldn't even say that really, I think he's on Vermaelen's level... not much difference between them except that when he gets sent off it's for the dumbest things. He's not crazy or dumb, it just happens... It's hard to explain
