RVP is desperate for us to make signings you could tell just from his interview after the Udinese game, he kept saying we've got money etc. I know he loves the club but he's not a player who deserves to be at a club that's not challenging for a league title.

He seems to love the club but so have many others who have past through it and still left. New signings will persuade him to stick around because it will show the club have ambitions to win things. Even winning something like the FA cup may encourage him that the club can win things.
If he continues to perform as he did in the second half of last season and Arsenal don't win things I can see him leaving for pastures new. Not right away as in at the end of this season but in the near future.

You need to take advantage of the fact you're in the Champions League because IF what happened to Liverpool you can't rebuild with top quality. It could be now or never on getting in the top quality needed to push for the title or any trophy.
