If that's our team I'd jizz, Gibbs has proven me wrong in the few games he had this season I wanted Traore to start over him, but his peformance before his injury were good. That'll be my lineup if we get those players tbh.blackskar wrote:Szczesny

Not a bad team that.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
From what I remember he was all over the place so i'm not actually sure if he's a winger or creative midfielder but either way he'd be a good addition and competition for Lennon and Bale, or if either is injured. Better than Pienaar for sure.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has had a bargain-basement bid for Gary Cahill laughed out of town by Bolton.
Wenger has tabled an offer of just £6million, plus extras, for the England international, which is roughly a THIRD of Bolton's valuation on their classy centre-half.
The offer is so low that the Lancashire side have dismissed it out of hand.
Arsenal have turned their attention to Cahill after failing with a £12m offer for Everton's Phil Jagielka, and stepping back from Blackburn skipper Chris Samba because of his price-tag.
Daily mirror.
£6m

Might as well add Ronaldo, Messi and Suarez into your line-ups.

Well no, because we've at least been linked with them. I like how you include Suarez with Messi and Ronaldo though

Weren't some Liverpool fans putting Aguero and Mata etc in the line ups early in the Summer with the faintest of hope of them actually signing. Don't see why some of our fans can't dream aswell even though we know like you that they'll never happen.

Yes, Scott was the main culprit of this.

Back down to earth with Charlie 'I can have efforts like Alonso but not pull them off 'Adam. I know we'd never get these players anyway just people being overly optimistic when infact we'll get some 29-30 year old center half i've never heard off who'll be 'super super quality' and that'll probably be that.

To be fair, I think Wenger does want to sign some big players and wants to spend now, he's just fucked it up and left it too late.

Nasri and Cesc deals were far too protracted to be honest,I know we tried to negotiate that little bit extra but I think we've left it a little late aswell.

Shame he had to go to Liverpool really... no one put in a suitable offer so he had to take that tiny step up. But you know... some people actually enjoy playing with the best tackler in the premiership and the best longballer in the premiership

M'vila played for Rennes today for the Europa league. Also Dreossi said
"I don't know anything [about an Arsenal bid]. Yann has extended his
contract with us so a departure is not topical,"
"He has started the season with us and he will finish it with us. That is very clear."

Basicly we are signing nobody, next summer RVP and Theo will leave and then we will be mid-table until Usmanov takes over and tells the manager to spend some massive money on players to work our way back.

If we don't make top 4 due to lack of quality signings watch them run.. Theo will break Usain Bolts record straight through the car park.justaddfinesse wrote:RVP and Walcott aren't going anywhere. Don't be silly.
