No way we would progress without any additions.

    Yeah we will.
With our lack of depth and injury record there's no way we would progress with our current squad.

Man for man, I would have to give Dortmund the edge to be honest.

inb4games arent won on paper, etc.

And that's before you take into account the fact Gibbs will be injured for most of the group stage and possibly van Persie as well as a number of other key players.

You know you're in trouble when you're relying on Walcott in our attack.

I can't spell some of there players, and cba looking them up but i'll just do it position wise.

GK - Arsenal > Dortmund (I think Szczsney will boss it this year)
    RB - Arsenal > Dortmund
    CB - Dortmund > Arsenal
    CB - Arsenal > Dortmund
    LB - Dortmund > Arsenal
    DM - Arsenal > Dortmund
    DM/CM - Arsenal > Dortmund
    RW - Dortmund > Arsenal
    AM - Dortmund > Arsenal
    LW - Arsenal > Dortmund
    ST - Arsenal > Dortmund

I'd say we have the advantage on paper. They have a better squad atm though depth wise.

Why do people keep saying this? He's got us through the qualifier, and he did well last season yet he gets constant criticism. Granted, i'd rather we had someone else, but he's not a bad player at all.

Arsenal will win the group, 9 points at home definitely, probably get 5 points away from home at least.

Unless that's not needed and you field a weak team, because you're already through.

We should be able to win akk our games at home and win away in Greece although a defeat at Marseille probably and a draw at Dortmund. If we play our best in all the matches we'll have 18 points Official Arsenal FC Thread - Page 14 232912

Is this some sort of wind up ? Dortmund fans are even saying they are under-dogs and rightly so. Their players haven't really played a team like us before and I'm confident a fully fit Arsenal side will beat them and I'm usually not confident with Arsenal.

We will probably get a bad injury spell and play

    Sczesny
    Jenkinson Djorou Koscielny Sagna
    Frimpong Wilshere
    Rosicky
    OXO Chamakh Arshavin
Or a similar team against these teams. With a fully fit squad we should be favorites to beat any of the teams in the group.

Of course they will say that, this is new grounds for them.

And that might be, but we all know there's no such thing as a fully fit Arsenal side.

Our new youngsters like Chamberlain and Ryo can't flourish if the team around them is just as young and inexperienced.

We were playing Tom Cruise, Eastmond, Bartley and Watt that game if I recall correctly.

Good group that is, no long trips, we can beat Marseille and Olympiacos and this Dortmund squad is new to the CL so we can do them when we get them at home.
