Re: Tottenham Hotspur Official Thread
Not liking the Bale free role either I must say. Against the smaller teams it's not too bad as he's good enough to pull it off. But against the 'bigger' teams we need him to stay left and put in his sexy crosses for the team to attack. With him going walk about it just leaves massive gaps all over the place as we try to accommodate it.
Should just go back to the usual 4-2-3-1 we usually play and that has been so successful this season, instead of trying out 4-4-2's against possesion teams with 3 in the middle....

Adam Smith was recalled from his loan btw.

Hope Walkers OK for United. Wouldn't feel too happy about Smith playing his debut against United.

I could see Kaboul at RB, King and Dawson in the middle. Smith would be on the bench.

Re: Tottenham Hotspur Official Thread
Lennon is fine as far as I know.
I imagine it'll be Kranjcar on left with Bale out.

Re: Tottenham Hotspur Official Thread
Was watching some games from earlier in the season and Bale is just so much more dangerous and effective hugging the touchline and just beating his man to cross or cut it back. Wish he'd go back to doing that instead of his roaming style

He's been doing it with Lennon in the squad as well, it's annoying
