Gotta start learning to break down teams that come and put 10 men behind the ball. A few teams have done this to us this season and we've struggled everytime.

More and more of the shit teams will do it if they think it'll work.

thoguht we should've switched to the 3-5-2 like we did when we got down against Stoke earlier in the season. I think Defoe might need to start soon

To be fair we DID score another legal goal, which the commentators seem to forgot about as the game went on. Neutral

Credit to Wolves for what they did yesterday, just annoyed that with the amount of chances we had we didn't score. BUT, if City can lose to Wigan tomorrow night we can go above them with a win at the Etihad. Unlikely yes, but possible.

Nope I detest it no matter who does it or who it's against.

And Geg, Remy apparently said after he game he wants to stay at Marseilles until the end of the season atleast. So even if we were in for him it'd be for next season only. I'd love it if we got him as he's quality but I just can't see Harry getting him Laughing

don't pity us. we quite enjoy an honest hard working resilient performance. we know our squad is limited so accept that our tactics are sometimes what people refer to as negative.

i don't feel its as negative as managers sending their players out to enjoy themselves and valiantly losing 5 3.

give me bore draws and points over entertainment and relegation. if we stay in this league long enough we may some day be in as strong a financial position as spurs, and maybe we could afford to buy and pay players of the caliber that tottenham now possess.

    but until then..............

Heard he was watching Sow as well, and possibly Hazard (though that one is unlikely).

People are questioning whether he can come back and fit our style of play on some Spurs forums.

Think our current style suits him perfectly. He can just sit deep and fizz his brilliant passes all over the pitch next to Parker/Modric.

He's worked with Modric before and I reckon he can work with Scotty. Scotty wins the ball, plays it to Hudd and then he sprays a beautiful ball out wide or over the top of the defense.

Is in the transfer thread but thought I'd stick it in here too:

Falque signs permanently / Southampton loan

We are delighted to announce that we have reached agreement with Juventus for the permanent transfer of Yago Falqué.

The Spain Under-21 international originally joined the Club on a season-long loan from the Serie A side last August and has made a total of six appearances for us to date.

Yago will now join Championship leaders Southampton on loan for the remainder of the campaign to continue his development.

Looked good from the few games he's played. Hopefully he can get some games under his belt at Southampton and come back ready to push for a place, like Caulker will do.

We should really look towards buying a top young keeper. Friedel's reliable, but just a stop-gap. Wouldn't hurt our title chances one bit.

Unlucky to lose, even moreso the way we did.

Still some positives to take from it so I'm not too unhappy. Bale is just a beast, well on his way to becoming world class. We matched them for most of the game and even looked better at times.

Balotelli is a cunt. Kicked Parker on purpose, scummy thing to do. Hope the FA sorts it out.

Also just listening to Harry after the match, says he was going to go 3 at the back when they scored the 2nd Surprised
